Paper Pumpkin

 Another card made with the Winter woods October 2019 kit. For these I cut the card bases in half and decided to make them shaker cards as I remember I had bought the A2 rectangle shaker pouches by MFT well I didn't buy the die so was bit tedious as having like 4-5 different rectangle dies none fit the opening of the pouch. For the shaker bits I used MS Crystal fine glitter and rocaille beads by Darice. My first try was using Kat Scrappiness double stitched rectangle to make the frame to sitting on top but wasn't too happy with that. For this card I used Stampa Rosa thank you stamp with Danube blue dew drop ink stamped a few time so it was dark enough

 for the next try I cut my frame with Cindy Echtinaw Designs Card Creator Perfect Layers A and then started cutting off until it fit on the pouch was a bit of a pain but liked it better. For this I used a lovely day paper pumpkin set February 2020 with the same Danube blue dew drop ink stamped a few time so it was dark enough

Since we got snow recently I'm still in the mood to work on winter cards so I got to play with my past Winter woods October 2019 kit for these cards I used some more of the blue snowflakes paper by Paper Pizazz/Hot of the Press, shimmery white die cut from kit and printed bird die cut also from kit. Decided not to add a message so they can be used for anything as I can just put the message on the inside or donate if I want

Happy Birthday

 Working on milestone birthday cards in winter I also made them slimline for this I blue snowflakes & swirls paper by Paper Pizazz/Hot of the Press the happy birthday circle frame was cut 4 layers times I think. Used shimmering blue stars dimensional stickers by Sticko EK Success and the whimsy alphabet by Spellbinders

Happy Anniversary

I had to make some anniversary cards and well we are in winter and I seem to be making slimline cards so these were the cards I made. I used blue snowflakes paper by Paper Pizazz/Hot of the Press, the happy anniversary frame I die cut a few times for dimension  

then I decided I would make it more personal by adding the years they were celebrating by die cutting out of the u/l/n/p whimsy Spellbinders set then cover with Spectrum Noir sparkle Crystal clear glitter brush and glossy accents

Tropical background

Back when we were going out I attended an event at Impress in Tukwila and they were demoing this cool stencil with the Make Art STAY-tion by Wendy Vecchi and I love mine so easy to use stencils without any adhesives just magnets anyway I love anything that is beachy so had to get it it's by PPP I used distress oxide ink picked raspberry with Life changing blender brush then cut my layer with stitched rectangle die by The Stamps of Life, added some Nuvo Crystal drops rhubarb crumble, for the first card I used my free thanks die by by Taylored Expressions

for this card I used a die I got at Amazon, wanted a bigger die but that was all I could find in quick fast delivery

and for this last one I used thank you card die by Little B, big bold you set by Winnie & Walter for the word for, Thank you for set by Anna Griffin all with Memento tuxedo black ink

Random Act of Kindness

My city had in the calendar that last Wednesday the 17 was Random Act of Kindness day so figured it was the perfect day to give another card to the heroes my city since I didn't have any stamp that was not for a friend or a loved one for Valentine's Day so these are the cards I made for the Police Department and also a for the UPS guy that is awesome and the USPS mail delivery which is new and not so great as the one we had for over 10 years which retired but hopefully they new people will get better in time like Debbie 😀

I stamped winter wishes image from the set by Altenew with amalgam ink whisper then with my Altenew ergonomic brush added weathered wood on the snow and stormy sky & iced spruce on the sky then sprinkle some shimmer sparkle then stamped again my image with VersaFine Clair nocturne. Cut my layers with Card Creator A & B. Stamped the words with with VersaFine Clair nocturne The top is from the same Altenew set winter wishes. The thanks for your service is from SU's service & sacrifice set

the thanks is from you are my anchor paper pumpkin April 2018, the mail carrier is from postal heroes by Altenew I just masked part of the message since Debbie wasn't getting the card

There is no UPS set out there at least I have not found one so I wrote the UPS

Happy 70th

One of my stamping friends, Linda, is turning 70th today and this is the card I mailed her. I used blue snowflakes & swirls paper by Paper Pizazz/Hot of the Press, balloon shaker die by PPP, silver baker's twine by SU used some glue to keep the twine like I wanted, and micro beads from my stash. I was going to put 70 but forgot before adding the twine

58th Anniversary

Today is my parents anniversary, I sent them one of my alternative to my paper pumpkin January 2020 I’ll bee yours. I cut my white layer with stitched rectangle die by The Stamps of Life then used a couple die cuts from the be mine stitched framelits as a background and then added the printed die-cut hearts from kit, to one I stamped the heart with the kits set with distress dusty concord ink and the numbers are from a very old calendar magnetic set that only has months and numbers

                                        

Happy 60

A neighbor is turning 60 today so while working on her card decided to also work on my mingle aka swap card for the bear. I used square grid windows slimline essential die by Kraftgali to cut my layer for my slimline on the making memories stardust hearts pastel pink paper then used strawberry slush stretch ruffle trim by SU to anchor my polar bear which I stamped with rich cocoa ink and is from the polarbear2stamp set stamp of the month September 2020 by The Stamps of Life I fuzzy cut it, the little bit of stamping was done with Copic markers, the gift is also from that set stamped with HA intense black ink 3 times colored with Copic markers and then stamped again with VersaFine Clair nocturne ink and then fuzzy cut. For the greeting I cut my circle with circle double stitch design small set by Gina K Design & Therm-O-Web then stamped the words from balloon Adventures set and the number memorable moments set both by SU with VersaFine Clair nocturne ink                                           

for the mingle/swap I used slimline scene builder Christmas set for the winter wishes by SSS with VersaFine Clair nocturne ink

Happy Valentine's Day

Wishing you all a sweet and happy Valentine's Day. This is the card I made for Bret. Several weeks ago in one of my online groups we had as Sunday Tip heror Technique the cube card with 2 cubes which I had seen done with 3 cubes by Sam at Mixed up Crafts but I since my idea included the love and it is 4 letters it had to have 4 cubes so had to alter my card. If I had to mail it still would mail flat, would cost extra because of the weight and because I added the heart on top it doesn't fit on an A2 envelope but since it was for Bret didn't have to worry about envelope so didn't check anyway. I decided to cover pretty much each of the squares on the inside and outside and the rectangles of the middle cube.

The white cardstock & rose papers were die cut with stitched square by The Stamps of Life, the rose paper inside was die cut with rectangle stitched framelits by SU, the black cardstock were die cut with stitched square stax by MFT and the inside just with paper cutter, all stamping was done with MFT electric red ink

Valentine's shaker

This was one of my Valentine's cards this year. I enjoy making shaker cards and when I saw this at Michaels website was the perfect thing for a shaker, I didn't have to die cut, had the right thickness on the frame for the foam just perfect. They are by Recollections the die on front is double hearts by The Stamps of Life I added shading with blending tool and regular distress ink hickory smoke, the message is from Valentine's Day stamp & die set by Recollection with MFT electric red ink and I filled the shaker with all types of beads I had in my stash

Love Valentine's

For this Valentine's card I cut my layers with Cindy Echtinaw Designs Card Creator Perfect Layers A & B, the heart paper is from The Paper Studio. I cover the heart paper with tissue paper then die cut my huge love by MFT 3 times, stamped the Happy Valentine's Day with rose bud dew drop ink from the Love set by PPP and use Valentine's Day stickers by Recollections

Marble Valentine's

I'm one to think Valentine's is not a pink & red colors so always want to so something different and when I saw this scrapbook paper thought it would be a good one for a Valentine card just had to see my supplies how and found a die that worked with it. The paper is navy marble by Recollections which I die cut with Cindy Echtinaw Designs Card Creator Perfect Layers B then I cut my navy blue cardstock with another perfect layers B and the heart cascade frame, also a perfect layers A. Added some Nuvo glitter drops white blizzard. On some cards I stamped with Danube blue dew drop ink and Valentine's Day stamp & die set by Recollections (first card) and others with filled with love paper pumpkin January 2015 set and punched them with large oval by SU

Winter thanks

Still with winter card, they are threatening with snow this week again but as always the man above has the last word. I used slimline scene builder Christmas set by SSS with Altenew inks I was having a hard time stamping the image so I used my life changing blender brush to add/smooth the inks and worked great also to even where I was changing the colors so one color went into the next more smoothly. I used deep blue seas collection for the tree I used SU inks crumb cake, early espresso & old olive. I used embossed edge nesting slim dies by Kat Scrappiness to make my frame and the freebie Thanks die by Taylored Expressions

Snowflakes slimline

More winter cards. I used distress oxide ink with Altenew ergonomic blending brush: tumble glass, broken china, faded jeans, chipped sapphire and black soot. Then I sprinkled some distress stain picket fence watered with shimmer craft sparkle. When it was all dry I stamped nordic snowflakes big & bold set by Colorado Craft Company with regular distress ink faded jeans. I died cut 3 times the hello which is part of the hello shaker die by PPP, the top layer is sort of glitter paper

for this card the happy birthday die was a gift from a friend also die cut 3 times

and last but not least the thanks is a freebie from Taylored Expressions also die cut 3 times

Penguin Hugs

I wanted to do keep doing winter cards for my donation box for Gray Matter Foundation and since I got this set color layering baby penguin by HA out for the message figured might as well use the penguin that was so cute. I stamped the penguin with Altenew inks from the warm gray collection morning frost, moon rock and lava rock. Then I masked the penguin and did my clouds with my DIY templates and distress oxide speckled egg and life changing blender brush then I stamped the message with VersaFine Clair nocturne ink and the snowflakes with regular distress ink speckled egg some of the snowflakes were from the set others were from Christmas magic slimline set by Trinity stamps

I cut the blue panel with Cindy Echtinaw Designs Card Creator Perfect Layers A and the white panel with stitched rectangle die by The Stamps of Life the snow drifts are by MFT with sort of glitter paper from Core'dinations

Winter wishes

We have been lucky so far, it has been very cold but we haven't had any snow. I know some other states and even in our state have gotten some but not in my city which is good even if I'm stuck at home. For these cards I used distress oxide sprays mermaid lagoon and faded jeans a bit of distress spray stain picket fence, mica spray brushed pewter and shimmer spray frost. When it was completely dry I die cut my layer with double stitched rectangle by Kat Scrappiness then stamped dancing snowflakes background stamp by MB with blue bayou ink and die cut the snowflake from Jen Long snowflake wreath framelit with stamps set. The message warm winter wishes is from color layering baby penguin set by HA same ink punched out with large oval by SU the tiny birthday is by Endless Creations I cut it for the happy birthday that was part of a cube. The winter cards went in my donation box for Gray Matter Foundation

Love

 I was working on some cards for my donation box to Gray Matters Foundation, they needed some Valentine's cards and I also needed some anniversary cards so killed two birds with one stone and made the same card for both. I used Nuvo Shimmer powder cherry bomb for my background on the ugly watercolor paper seems no matter how much I used is never gone LOL then it was completely dry I cut my layer with double stitched rectangle die by Kat Scrappiness and stamped the big love from Love set by PPP, The Happy Valentine's is from the same set and the Happy anniversary is from Anniversary2celebrate set by The Stamps of Life all with VersaFine Clair nocturne ink and added some Jot Pop-up Enamel dot stickers from Dollar Tree

Paper Pumpin

This was an alternative to the January 2020 I'll bee yours kit. For my background I used layered hearts stencil A by PPP with my Make Art STAY-tion by Wendy Vecchi with distress oxide picked raspberry and life changing blender brush, then die cut it with double stitched rectangles by Kat Scrappiness. For my layer I used one of the paper bag from kit which I cut with stitched square by MFT, sponged some of the same picked raspberry ink. Added 3 printed die-cut hearts from kit folded in half and glued back to back. The banners are from kit stamped with spot mint macaron 2-3 times only because ink didn't seem dark enough either mine it's too dry or just seemed dry to me. The "you have" is from heart set by Gina K, "our" is from prayers set by HA, the Happy Valentine's Day is from the kit, the tail of the banners were made with banner triple punch by SU and used Nuvo drops glossy party pink to cover the hole
