Krazy Kreations Kit

This card was part of the happy wishes butterfly card kit by Krazy Kreations. It's one of those peel-off stickers and homemade glitter paper kits that you color the images with Copic Markers, mainly, but you can color with any other alcohol marker of course, the kits have instructions for Copic markers and comes with papers that supposed to coordinate to those colors so if you use other markers you'll have to figure out the markers to go with those papers 😊 after you're done coloring you fuzzy cut the images and then you complete the cards either according to directions or your way

This card was done with the wildflower wishes February 2018 kit. I used the kit's set with sahara sand ink for my background stamping, on the vellum I stamped with seriously amazing set paper pumpkin August 2014 and garden green ink and to embellish and cover my glue dots I used dimensional stickers by Sticko

Shoebox Tuesday

For today's project I have a very simple card inspired by a fold I saw in a couple blogs I follow, I believe it was Susie, Patty & Flowerbug for sure, anyway this is what I did on my card.

I used HA's coffee cup stamp & die combo set with paper bag ink and SU's white tea lace paper doily. If I recalled correctly I kept my card normal A2 size instead of cutting it to 5-1/4" mainly because I used A6 envelopes so my doily didn't interfere with fitting perfectly inside otherwise you do need it to be smaller size 😊 but left my top part 3-1/2", the band on the coffee cup is from a background paper and you can't really tell but the paper on the cup is fall leaves. Technically we still in Fall until December 20th so figure I would do one more Fall card before getting into Christmas projects next month

Workshop

Yesterday a friend and I joined Lisa, one of the local SU demonstrators for a Christmas workshop where we did 20 card of 5 different designs so 4 of each, all using supplies of both the big and holiday catalog.

For this first card, we used beautiful blizzard stamp set with gorgeous grape, highland heather and whisper white inks for this last one we also used white embossing powder; blizzard thinlits die, glitter enamels gorgeous grape dots ; whisper white polka dot tulle ribbon; silver & whisper white baker's twine

For these cards, we used dashing deer stamp set with real red ink and it's matching die detailed deer thinlits; because we were using different DSP we used different ribbons in my cards I used the shaded spruce from the metallic ribbon combo pack and real red solid ribbon

For this card, we used buffalo check background stamp with crumb cake ink; peaceful noel stamp set with merry Merlot and shaded spruce inks; sprig punch; stitched shapes framelits die and crumb cake classic weave ribbon

For this card, we used swirls & curls textured impressions embossing folder; granny apple green texture weave ribbon; spirited snowmen stamp set with granny apple green and tuxedo black inks; glitter enamel granny apple green dots; we were supposed to color the snowman with stampin blends but I colored mine with Copic markers as usual

because I have a little OCD I fixed my card and cut the front of the card and mounted on another base because I don't like how it looks inside also the clumsiness of the card so it's just better having a card base and then a layer of the emboss piece

And last card but not least, we used snowflake sentiments stamp set with night of navy and balmy blue inks; basic jewels clear rhinestones; metallic-edge silver ribbon and yes this was the only card I remember to do the inside 😊

Purple butterfly acetate

This card was done with printed acetate by Stamp On It! The acetate had 4 images so I cut the sheet in 1/4 but cut each pieces smaller to fit my frame, tried to use frames from previous kits or made my own if the image didn't show all. I used Copic marker to colored my peel-off sticker to match my cardstock and image. The back of my acetate is silver glitter paper

Lighthouse acetate

I can't remember if I got this printed acetate by Stamp On It! at the stamp & scrap show this year or last year but finally got to play with it. I bought some kits and had fun playing with them so it was easy to just played with the rest of the acetates the same way. The sheet had 4 images which I cut the sheet in 1/4 and make the a little smaller to find my frame then on the back side added a piece of white glitter paper, mounted my frame to some navy blue cardstock which was mounted on my white base, peel-offs for the Happy Birthday and the wavy lines

Happy Thanksgiving

Wishing you all a very Happy Thanksgiving! Today is a day to be thankful for and we are thankful for family and friends that make each day better for us.

This is the card I made for Bret that was one of my Sunday Tip or Techniques in one of my Yahoo Groups. The tutorial we were given was a very busy Christmas card. I had done this card in the past and did them simple so this time decided to use papers I would next it next time but since I didn't have more paper to redo the card it had to stay this way. The papers are from The Paper Studio, all stamping and die cutting was done with stitched leaves mini stamp kit by Gina K Designs with ground espresso ink, the message on the back is from Endless Creations also with ground espresso

Like every year, we hosted Thanksgiving dinner and for the table this year, this is what I had for the name setting. All boxes were filled the same, but the belly band was different as I used miscellaneous fall paper I had. For the pumpkin I used seasonal chums set by SU with rusty hinge ink, simple colored the leaves with Copic marker then die cut with matching die and cut both pieces so I could use the back for my Happy Thanksgiving and the name of the guest. The happy is from birthday classic March set by Papertrey Ink, the Thanksgiving is from Hero Arts wonderful stamp & cut set cut with classic label punch by SU. The belly band is a bit loose so they can just slide eat the chocolates and put belly band back IF they would like to save box. I did it because my BIL loves to eat his treats right away and pretend the package is untouched and sometimes it can't be done but this time he can 😊 but my sister will still see that candies are gone LOL

Shoebox Tuesday

For today's project, I had a very clean and simple card I saw on Pinterest by Lydia Evans. I loved the simplicity of her card so I checked what I had to make a similar card so this is what I came up with.

I used wave rectangle die for my first layer, then double stitched rectangle die by Kat Scrappiness to make my frame which was mounted on foam, love this dies as you get the stitching on both sides of your die cuts; my message is from Neat & Tangled set painted hello with ground espresso ink; for my leave I wanted a maple leave but the burlap paper by DCWV was too thick for the die and it was a pain to cut so had to go for one that didn't have fine edges, good thing that the stitched leaves mini stamp kit by Gina K Designs has 3 leaves to pick. After I cut all my leaves for everyone I colored them with my Copic ABS, then just added the jute and rhinestones to embellish

Thanksgiving pumpkin

This was a clean and simple card not too easy to make using lacey pumpkin corner flourish die by Cheery Lynn Designs, I had to die cut it twice cut all the pieces around the pumpkin and adhere it on top of the green piece, I was going to cut the flower but since the pumpkin flower is in the orangy-yellow color decided to leave it orange for the message area I colored it with Nuvo aqua flow vanilla sundae pen, it's sort of watercolor brush after dry I stamped my message from open fallen leaves set by Heartfelt Creations with ground espresso

Thankful for you

For this card I used acorny thank you stamp set by SU with caramel toffee and rocky shore inks and matching punch, the message is from stitched leaves mini stamp kit by Gina K Designs with ground espresso ink, the leaves are from doodles blooms die by Altenew

Workshop

A friend and I attended a new group of SU demonstrators for their Christmas workshop. Each one had a project for us to make.

Leah had a set of tags. I'm not into tags for those that like tags this is a fast and easy way to do them the set is tags & tidings, you can stamp all the stamps at once, which we did with real red ink and then cut all at once with Christmas tags thinlits then you just decorate as desire. I didn't spend a lot of time on mine since like I said I'm not into tags and we don't give gifts other than the grand-kids and being "two" now is not like we need tags 😊. She had bunch of cut outs of punches and dies of misc papers for us to use and she also had some samples if you needed ideas of how to make the tags but we could do it our way also which was what I did.

Nola had a card and we got to make 3 cards of the same design using feathers & frost set with gray granite ink and the message was stamped with real red. The coloring was supposed to be done with stampin blends BUT after coloring the chest of the birds with the yellows and they were only one tone both options I decided to just wait and color with my Copics, the berries were supposed to be done with glitter glue but that is messy so decided to do pearls and also added a little something to the inside of my card which was not on the original sample card

and last but not least, Diane card which we also got to make 3 of this design. For this card other than the detailed baubles thinlits die and the retired decorative label punch and of course the jewels and glitter paper I don't know any other supplies we used as all stamps were all ready for us to use with VersaMark and silver powder anyway there is a window sheet between the top and bottom. The blue was color with aqua painter was sort of watercolor made of reinker

Thanksgiving leaves

Another Thanksgiving card for this year, for this one I used open falling leaves stamp set by Heartfelt Creations with carved pumpkin ink, Happy Thanksgiving stamp by Impress with ground espresso ink, and leafy breezy die by Poppy Stamps. I mounted my top layer on top of a fall background paper so I could see all different tones of fall colors

Shoebox Thursday

For today's project I have another fun fold card and it's the base of yesterday's card but I altered. I still don't know what's it's name other than triangle card but I'm sure there's another card anyway for this card the front looks like a normal card, it's also Thanksgiving theme.

I used a Paper Studio background paper of hay for my background and some scraps of another hay paper for the hands of the scarecrow die. For the stake of my scarecrow I colored with rich cocoa dual marker, the ellipse pieced die is popped with foam, the messaged is from teeny tine wishes set by SU with vintage ink and punched out with word window punched also by SU mounted on top of modern label punch also by SU and they're flat

Shoebox Wednesday

For today's project I had a simple Thanksgiving card. Can't remember the name of the fold, sorry. I used a double sided background paper for this card so I didn't have to worry about which paper to use for one side or the other the only thing that we had to worry was the direction of the pumpkins. The messages is from DelRose Stamping with seedless preserves ink, the pumpkin is a die but don't have a name on the package and Stamps of Life stitched circle die

Paper Pumpkin

This is one of the cards I made with this Layered leaves September 2017 kit. I used sending and wishing set by Simon Says Stamp with brushed corduroy ink, SU's bunch of blossom set with cajun craze ink and for the center I used a Recollection enamel dot
