For today's project I have another winter card I know for some is not as cold but still cold to me plus we are in winter until March so might as well make winter cards!

I cut my top layer with Stamps of Life stitched rectangle then aligned my dies from Jen Long's snowflake wreath the circle on center and the snowflakes randomly then placed the layer on top of my card base and stamped the images from the set and then mounted the top layer on foam and spray with shimmer spray sparkle which the photo doesn't show

Stampin Up Workshop

Yesterday a friend and I went to a stamp-a-stack workshop with a "local" SU demonstrator, she is fairly close by and lucky that Darlene drives to Lisa's house 😊 we got to make 8 cards

Most of the supplies were from current catalogs except for 2 things I believe and I made a few changes from original cards not that I didn't like Lisa's cards just that well I'm me LOL

For this card, we stamped with grapefruit grove one of the stamps in the bonanza buddies stamp set then with basic black stamped the message, wrapped the whisper white crinkled seam binding ribbon on the piece of birthday bonanza DSP and mounted on the card base, cut a piece of cardstock with rectangle stitched framelits and with the 2" circle punch we picked one of the birds from the birthday bonanza DSP this layer was supposed to be mounted on foam but my bow was on the way and didn't fit so decided to use it to anchor my bird

For this card, we use again the birthday bonanza DSP, the image is the gang's all meer sale-a-bration stamp set stamped with tuxedo black and colored with stampin' blends, the twine is bermuda bay metallic baker's twine from the sale-a-bration combo pack that also had sequins which I decided not to use instead I used Nuvo Crystal Drops gloss dandelion yellow and ripened pumpkin. The top piece was mounted on foam

For this one, we used softly fallen textured impression embossing folder which I believe it's retired as I couldn't find on the catalog, then we stamped the images from under my umbrella stamp set with tuxedo black and punched them out with the umbrella builder matching punch colored with stampin' blends, added thick whisper white twine also didn't find on catalog

For this one, we use peaceful poppies DSP, stamped the poppies from painted poppies stamp set with tuxedo black and colored with stampin' blends, the message was stamped with tuxedo black out of sending you thoughts stamp set. Top layer was mounted on foam. I decided to anchor the poppies with a little grass with a Copic Marker

For this card, we did all the stamping from parisian beauty stamp set, the Eiffel Tower with pool party, the message with basic gray as well as the top postmark the bottom postmark I stamped off, the iron horse or whatever the little thingy is call was stamped with petal pink, added some champagne rhinestones and decided to anchor the Eiffel tower with some Copic Marker

For this card, we embossed with tufted dynamic or 3D folder, used best dressed DSP, the stamping was from dressed to impress stamp set, the message was stamped with pretty peacock then punched out with pretty label and stamped the scribble stamped off with mint macaron ink this piece was supposed to be mounted on foam but because we added the pearls I mounted flat as it already had dimension

For this one, we mounted the layers the DSP is from country club, the set is mountain air is one of their reversible sets. The sun one side is sun the other side is moon, the mountain one side is flat the other side has dimension the first two layers were stamped with the back side balmy blue and night of navy then the right side with night of navy whicy is the side that die cuts, the green was garden green and the die only cuts the top the bottom you have to cut the length you want. The matching dies are Majestic Mountain. I put everything together then I die cut my piece with the rectangle stitched framelit die I forgot to stamp the birds and the garden green twine which comes on the country club twine pack was supposed to go under the message on top but decided to put it on bottom and put my message on bottom to break the white space. The message was stamped out of itty bitty greetings with night of navy and punched out with classic label

And last but not least, all stamping was from timeless tulips stamp set. I stamped my stems with call me clover and one leaf on my layer and with highland heather the closed bulb tulip then on scrap with matching tulip builder punch punched two tulips and one leaf stamped the and mounted them with foam. I decided not to use the sequins and she also had a get well message but this way it could be for anything and added Nuvo Crystal Drops gloss crushed grape. I have two layers of whisper white and then the card base

Birthday

Today is the birthday of one of my dear friends and for Christmas she sent me this cute die so decided to use it for her card. At first I thought it was a full panel but the 3 cats were individual panels and since the frame was too little I couldn't do a shaker card as I wanted couldn't cover the foam and using cardstock I didn't want any beads of sequins on the face so would be hard so went for plan be. I cut my white layer with stitched rectangle die by The Stamps of Life. The message is from Gina K Design elegant asters card kit except for the meow that was from nine lives stamp set by SU all stamped with VersaFine Clair ink nocturne. I cut the frame from the cat on the bottom

Monoprinting

A while back I was playing with my monoprint plate by Grafix Impress Print Media this one is a thin hard plastic instead of a gelli plate. I used it with my Ancient Page Archival Dye reinkers which are permanent inks the good thing about this plate is that you can use any cleaner to try an get the ink off with the gelli plate it would be stain and you wouldn't be able to remove, it doesn't change the effect of the plate but with my OCD sometimes it bother me LOL anyway the colors I used were sandalwood and sienna with water spritz and a brayer on 5x7 Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80Lb paper

I just kept adding water until I didn't have much ink. When the pieces where complete dry I had to make a card with a horse decided this background was perfect for it. I did all cards the same and donated them to Live like Roo. I cut a vanilla in a little bit bigger than a note card size stamped cheesecloth background stamp by Rubbernecker Stamps with amalgam ink whisper then my monoprint panel was cut in two mounted on brown and then stamped the images with VersaFine Clair ink fallen leaves

Shoebox Thursday Darlene

For today's project, Darlene had another Valentine's card that could be use for anniversary as it doesn't say anything about Valentine's 😉 we got to pick the embossing folder and the words which were cut with her Cricut some were cut with red mirror paper and some with glitter paper I chose glitter paper mainly because the mirror paper is hard to photograph LOL the folder I picked was swirly vine by Sizzix and I also added some red rhinestones by SU just because I wanted some extra bling not because this card sample had any but since we were all picking things I did my thing

50th Anniversary

Yesterday our friends celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary but today is their party. Big milestone specially now a days when people either don't take commitment or marriage serious and divorce just like breaking up with a boyfriend in high school or they don't get married because living together seems better anyway, this is the card I made for them as I'm into shaker cards, have too many sequins right now LOL

Used detailed floral thinlits dies, the happy is from the handwritten set by Little B and I mounted it on shimmery cardstock, the 50 was die cut on glitter paper same as the frame under the top gold paper and was cut from whimsy set by Spellbinders and the anniversary is from the stamp set wonderful stamp & cut by HA with VersaFine Clair fallen leaves ink also stamped on the shimmery cardstock

Shoebox Tuesday

For today's project I have a winter card as the several days we've had some snow a reminder that winter is here. Normally it's just cold and not enough snow as in some areas in the country but for our area enough to mess the routine of people.

I believe it's an altered S fold card or upside down Z fold card 😀. For my message which is an Endless Creation message winter greeting with VersaFine Clair nocturne ink and cut with rectangle stitched framelits die and the other die is large winter sled by MB mounted on foam

Hello Zebra

I was trying to make some masculine cards and had this zebra stamp that was a gift from a friend well stamping it somehow it just wasn't stamping right, I think it was defective so as you know we stampers have to do something fix the stamps that can't be return since the company is out of business so I added the butterfly. as Bret said it was still ok for a guy it went for guys 😊 I used black licorice hybrid ink, cut the layer with stitched rectangle stax die by MFT and the butterfly is from butterfly duet punch by SU

Shoebox Thursday by Darlene

For today's project Darlene had a lovely glittery love card. She had choices of colored glitter paper and I picked liked a fuchsia pink color and she was nice to have everything die cut on sticker paper don't know if she did that to make things easier as I hate wet glue and I would have to cut mine as from all my friends I'm the only one that don't do wet glue anyway this time all I had to do was put together and changed my card as I didn't see well and somehow I saw on the sample that the heart from bloomin' heart thinlits die by SU was on the back of the other heart which I think but not 100% sure is by The Stamps of Life, this time she didn't have the supplies on hand for me to see anyway, after I put my card together saw that it wasn't but oh well guess better get better eyes LOL added some pearls from her stash she did have a punch to add some random hearts of the same glitter paper but I decided not to mess with it. The love is a die by The Stamps of Life that I know for sure

12th Day of Christmas

Happy last Day of Christmas is hard to believe that we are done with Christmas and decorations will be going down next weekend. Bret is happy but I don't like the house looking so empty after having so much cheer in the house for 37 days, good thing I will still have the nativity until February 😁

This is the card I made for my family which is the only people that celebrate this holiday. For my background I sprayed Imagine sheer shimmer craft  spray frost, distress oxide spray faded jeans and distress mica spray brushed pewter and since I'm really into shaker cards I used MFT large rectangle shaker pouches and some sequins I found at JoAnn, the The Wise Men are a die by Crafter's Companion

10th Day of Christmas

Many years ago I bought a little book of tags or some sort from SU, and of course never used them because I'm not a tag person and when I bought them I didn't mean to use them as tags so finally finished them they were all in Christmas them. one side was tag like and the other side was more background paper so decided to use the tag side as it was perfect for a quick Christmas card

It had 5 different images one was not Christmas so didn't use for my card but the other 4 I did. Can you tell I have been having fun with my sprays?? I did a bunch of backgrounds using distress spray stain candied apple after they were all dry I cut my layers with stitched rectangle die by The Stamps of Life for this one I stamped my snow festival designer printed tags with pining for plaid paper pumpkin stamp set from October 2017 with real red ink

Happy New Year 2020

Happy 7th Day of Christmas and 2020 first day of the New Year and Decade hopefully this year won't go as fast as 2019 LOL

Again with my shaker cards because they are fun and easy to make. For this card I used fireworks stencil by PPP with white Glitz glitter gel by Gina K Designs & Therm-O-Web I tried coloring it with mica spray tarnished brass but it didn't work. The frame was done with double dotted rectangle frames, I die cut my Happy New Year die from The Stamps of Life with Altenew's golden dots washi tape and also a heavy black cardstock for dimension; the gold and silver sequins are from JoAnn, I put a little too much but in person you can still see the fireworks and it shakes really well

These cards were part of my ways with washi tape class homework. For this homework  it was using the washi tape for home decor BUT I don't do home decor so I decided to use the washi tape for another shaker card so I cover the layer off cardstock with the golden dots washi tape by Altenew which I used to die cut the words above and I got the negative piece and well I wasn't going to waste it since I planned the cutting so this was the second card I got. I glued the piece on acetate and then die cut the champagne flutes by Taylored Expressions with black cardstock. Did my shaker card with the same sequins as above this time I didn't put as many as I was more careful
