One Sheet Wonder

While I was working on my donation box I like to check my unfinished project box as I normally have a bunch of things that are pretty much just ready to just mount on a card base and done others a little bit more so for these cards I just had the DSP cut for a OSW, not all pieces so these are the cards I finished with what I had left.  For the message I used grown with kindness Paper Pumpkin stamp set February 2019 with VersaFine Clair nocturne and wildflower wishes Paper Pumpkin stamp set February 2018 also VersaFine Clair nocturne ink the tag is from to you and yours Paper Pumpkin kit November 2018, pearls from stash

For this card I used a stamp set I had with Gina K Designs amalgam ink whisper on the background and somehow it doesn't show much on the photo, for the message pinwheel party paper Pumpkin stamp set June 2014 and grown with kindness Paper Pumpkin stamp set February 2019 both with VersaFine Clair nocturne ink the circle tag is from banner surprise Paper Pumpkin kit June 2016 and pearls from stash

Shoebox Tuesday

For today's project a simple card, hardly any stamping as I have decided to use some of my papers I've been hoarding. This card is going to my donation box to Gray Matters Foundation. I cut most of my papers for a paper book by The Paper Studio Harper's Boutique that were all between black/white/gray into 4" x 5.25" and from there started making cards for this, picked two different papers bottom layers that left full size and then another layer that cut into strips of 1" one for each end and then cut about 1/4" strip of black cardstock and put at the edge of each strip. Glued everything together then attached to a white piece that is 1/4" bigger giving me 1/16" border all around and mounted to another piece of black cardstock that was 1/4" giving me another 1/16" border all around then mounted to a white base this way I didn't have to add an insert.

The message is from big bold you stamp set by Winnie & Walter with VersaFine Clair nocturne cut it with A7 layers dies by Waffle Flower Actually I first cut all my pieces and then stamp a lot easier since the smaller piece is not open. The paper flowers are by two companies the black is Recollections and the white CTMH and the center is enamel accents by Ranger

Shoebox Thursday

For today's project I had a fun fold card. I had everything cut for my friends to do all they had to do was stamp the message and put together. My first card was this

and the only problem was that I used tiny magnets and since everything was cardstock it wasn't working to keep the flap closed so had to go to a plan B. I know for most people it didn't matter much as I saw many tutorials and they didn't have any form of closure on their cards. Lynn Dunn which was our Sunday Tip or Technique video used on her second card an oval as her closure and since I had already cut all my papers and picked all my materials I couldn't do that as it just didn't work so had to plan something else and this is what I did. Same supplies so you could see the difference on this one...I used a belly band made with stretch crisp cantaloupe ruffle trim by SU. The dies are Stampin’ cut & emboss stitched nested labels, the flowers were 3D stickers from Dollar Tree everyone had different flowers as the sheet had assortment of flowers, the message is part of the set lace leaf by Concord & 9th with industrial diamond crisp dye ink

Shoebox Tuesday

For today's project I have a fairly simple card. I stamped lacy image from flip the lace stamp set by Taylored Expressions with watermelon wonder ink and picked one of the messages. I bought the set for one specific message plus the lacy border but all messages are nice personally since I'm married and the card I sent are sent by Bret and I it's always our and us the one message that says my probably will not be use or I will cut the my off as I have done on many stamps anyway after the stamping did the die cutting with the stitched rectangle die by The Stamps of Life glued the dotted lace trim watermelon wonder by SU and mounted to my layer and base and then using some white baker's twine left over from a past paper pumpkin tied a bow added 3 pearls and done with just a little bling

Challenge

Rachel Tessman is my paper pumpkin demonstrator and every once in a while she sends a gift/challenge which is something from the catalog that coordinates with the paper pumpkin so this time around my gift was this

Mint macaron top open card base, black hearts from heart punch pack, (4) 3” x 4” pieces of golden honey specialty Sale-a-bration DSP, Mint macaron 1/8” sheer linen ribbon

this is the other other side of the DSP

and these are the cards I made. For the first one I used the card base she sent but cut a piece added one of the DSP pieces the two black hearts, used two hearts from the paper pumpkin I'll bee yours on the white side stamped the heart from the kit with VersaFine Clair nocturne ink and on the other used a big bold you stamp set by Winnie & Walter same ink the epoxy hearts are from last year's paper pumpkin colored with Copic marker I also stamped on the edge with mint macaron the border that came in the kit's stamp set

for this card I used a black base, one of the DSP that I got, the bees are from the paper pumpkin colored them with a black marker and Spectrum Noir sparkle crystal clear glitter brush, the message is by Stampendous with VersaFine Clair nocturne ink

For this card it's a note card size so made two cards identical, used a note card from kit, another DSP cut in half, cut the ribbon in half and used it to cover the seem, used a banner die-cut from kit and used a rhinestone from my stash the message is from picnic paradise July 2018 paper pumpkin kit with VersaFine Clair nocturne

Last but not least, for this I grabbed I piece that I had cut not sure from which stitched die as it was in my scraps then used my Wendy Vecchi Make Art STAY-tion and the texture honey comb designer stencil by MB and oxide seedless preserves ink with life changing blender brush then cut the last DSP piece and covered it with oxide peeled paint ink with life changing blender brush and cut it with stitched rectangle framelits used printed die-cut circle and bee from the kit I added ink to both of them, the thank you if from the kit with VersaFine Clair nocturne ink

57th Anniversary

Today is my parents wedding anniversary big milestone and in my case lucky to still have both of my parents alive. This is the card I made for them and happy they got on time!! was a little hard as my sequins were a little big and didn't want to "shake" in the channels but oh well this was the idea I had for their card and with no other bits for the shaker had to go with it. Actually had to make this card twice as the bag of sequins had two sizes of sequins and at first when I separated the sequins I just did by color but it didn't work at all so had to redo the card and just use the small size and that work better but still not perfect wished I had beads in different blues but didn't and maybe if I should have ran the static bag all over the acetate and the foam like I mostly do which I forgot it would have work oh well lesson learn. The sequins were from JoAnns except for the tiny ones on both ends that were from SU I think. The 57 is from whimsy die set by Spellbinders, the diagonal chevron is a die by Spellbinders...on the bottom part I did inlay all the chevron pieces. For the 57 and happy anniversary I went over my Spectrum Noir sparkle crystal clear glitter brush and then glossy accents which you can only see in person

Joyful Blessings

One last Valentine's I sent this year. When I did the snow festival designer printed tags most of them were Christmas except for this one, it had hearts so for me it was more for Valentine's of any other thing so decided to use it for Valentine's. I cut my red layer with stitched rectangle die by Stamps of Life and sprayed it with distress stain candied apple when dried mounted all my layers and stamped the message out of a Christmas set by Recollections with real red

Happy Valentine's Day

When I was thinking of what to do for Bret's Valentine's card I saw Sam's from mixed up craft star easel card and that was the perfect card as I can do 3D card plus shaker card!! I know I am into shaker cards right now

For mailing it's a little hard as you have to figure out the size of base and the star it will fit. My base is regular A2 and with my star it will fit A9 envelope.

I used paper from my stash. The heart treat cups are by SU on the front I used an antique key from my stash and a glitter heart from Recollections

on the back heart treat cup, I used mini red heart confetti by PPP and red chunky glitter from JoAnn. The message on top is hope your... by MB and the bottom is part of ways to say happy anniversary by Picket Fence Studios both stamped with rhubarb stalk ink. Bret has been my only legal husband but we have this joke when he forgets about places we've been together that I say "Oh that's right I was there with my other husband" so when I saw this set I had to get it just because of this one stamp 😁

Clear Valentine's

After watching the video from Jennifer McGuire with her clear shaker card that was my thing to do so I made one for my parents and surprisingly it already got to them!! the one I sent for Kings it just arrived so took like 2 months and this one maybe 3 weeks go figure, anyway glad they got it on time this time around. It was hard to take photos I don't know who makes the die. I cut it 3 times put acetate on all 3 pieces, on inside decided to add paper so I could add message and personal message to my parents but I added shaker bits on the front and back

the images are from the set amor de San Valentin by SU with heart beat crisp dye ink

For today's project a simple love card that can be use for Valentine's, anniversary or any occasions. I die cut the love from seed love collage steel craft die by Poppy Stamps but only used the letters, then cut 3 heart which was a freebie by Taylored Expressions. The heart cuts two hearts the outline and then a center, I glued the outline and mounted on the layer and then added some glitter and then glossy accent to fill the hole. Very simple

Shoebox Thursday

For today's project I decided to make the card base on Connie Steward fold. It's a very simple fold and it works best if you have matching papers and for me it's hard since I don't normally buy packs but a few years ago I did buy a couple packs from Recollections at Michaels that had 3-4 pattern papers and 2-3 solid papers so work pretty good and for once I didn't separate the papers so I was able to cut all my pieces from the packs!

Connie only decorated the flaps and the inside I decided to decorate the front plus the inside. For the belly band I used a colored doily cut in half and glued the colored side together the heart on front is a heart shape studio bubble caps,  I stamped the hello from sew you paper pumpkin March 2015 stamp kit set and the heart from filled with love paper pumpkin January 2015 stamp kit set with Altenew crisp dye ink grapevine then put the cardstock through the Epiphany crafts shape studio heart punch and then glued it with glue dots on the doily and then to the belly band which was folded on the card.

Shoebox Tuesday

For today's project I have a fairly simple card as it doesn't have any stamping! Bret has a cat that likes to get by the window in my craft room so every so often I have to clean everything around that area as it gets very hairy that means I have to get the stuff out of the boxes and as dusting the shelves and the stuff around is not enough for the things she jump over anyway as I was going through the papers in one of the boxes I saw a bunch of pre-cut card bases with a heart so decided to use them for my project. They were with glossy cardstock on the front and I have never have good luck stamping on glossy paper so decided not to try it as I would not have duplicates and looking at my dies they didn't match my opening since I had already worked for my project for Thursday and I still have my paper pack on the desk decided to use those papers so just needed things to match that so grabbed distress oxide spray picked raspberry did a light spritz when it dried mounted on the brown layer on the inside I mounted the heart paper and a small piece of white for the personal message used a matching pink paper for love which is love cursive die by Savvy Stamps which I cover with Spectrum Noir crystal clear sparkle glitter brush and on the front I also added some Nuvo Crystal Drops gloss party pink
