Love is in the air

I made this sort of simple card using the up and away thinlits dies by SU for anniversary cards. Sort of simple because you have to cut too many times to get all the colors but otherwise it was simple to make the card, I used the lift me up set also by SU with hybrid black licorice ink and for the anniversary message is part of an Endless Creations same ink

for this message I used Stamp A Mania stamp same ink

Winter birthday

Another birthday card, I made this card for my sister, at the time I mailed the card she hadn't said she was coming for a visit so I had to mail the card and being that her birthday is Christmas it has to be a winter card. I used triple stamping technique and since she likes sage color that's what I used. I used delicate snow set by Stampendous with sage shadow ink the feliz cumpleaños is a Memory Box die and my layers were cut with Stamps of Life stitched rectangle dies

Shoebox Thursday by Candee

For today's shoebox project, Candee had this messy project with Colourcraft Brusho. We got to pick our colors for our stripe of watercolor paper and according to the colors we got to stamp our image from the sale-a-bration set amazing you.

While the watercolor piece was drying I worked on the other part of the card. The brusho colors I used were gamboge, brilliant red & yellow. All stamping was done with tuxedo black ink; the big stamp is Rubber Stampede & Posh Impressions then I ran through big shot with garden trellis textured impressions embossing folder

Winter thank you

I always try not to do Christmas cards with winter theme so I can use that theme for other things the rest of the 4 months of winter. I know most people as soon as Christmas is over they go to Valentine's and then Easter as not many remember St Patrick's but even though I don't like the cold I love making winter cards and it seems like is the longest season of all!!!

For this card, I used shimmery paper to emboss flurries folder from winter wonderland set by Cuttlebug surprisingly it's the only folder in all the sets by Cuttlebug that has an individual name! I'm guessing because it was the one most people was using from this set, anyway, the thank you is from a Sizzix set # 5, thank you with frame #2 and the snowflake brad I bought at Impress

Shoebox Tuesday

For today's shoebox project, I made I card base on a fold Dawn O did. Her fold was the other way but I don't like landscape cards so I made mine portrait 😊

I hardly did any stamping on this card, just the message as I was using up some papers I found on my stack to use up asap! the heart is punch by SU. Is like a gate fold, the base of the card opens one way and then inside opens the other way, the heart serves as closure and I use epoxy dot for bling as it's a bit flat so doesn't give extra dimension since I mounted the heart on foam so no extra postage. The message is by Memory Box stamped with tuxedo black

this message is from amor de San Valentin set by SU also stamped with tuxedo black

Stampin Up Workshop

Today is the day we try to go to a SU workshop with one of the local demonstrators. We get to make 3 cards and this time was using products of the new occasions and sale-a-brations catalogs

This first card, was using the picture perfect birthday set with berry burst ink, the tutti-frutti adhesive-backed sequins and the picture perfect party DSP. Very fun paper

this second card, was using the waterfront set. I like the woodgrain paper as it had different tones to pick, it's from the wood textures DSP perfect for manly cards :0) for this card we used lots of ink pads, marina mist, soft sky, dapper denim, crumb cake, chocolate chip, & garden green and a yellow one for the sun that I missed writing plus washi tape that I believe is from the basics pack 2

last but not least, this card was a valentine's card but obviously it can be used for anniversary or something else. We used heart happiness set and amazing you sale-a-bration set. The black was with basic black ink which I hate as it stains the stamps or anything it touches and real red ink; basic black baker's twine, white tea lace doily, rhinestones colored with dark cherry cobbler stampin blend

Dancing with stars Tilda

This is one of those images that work for a lot of things. I made it for a couple mingles (aka swaps) of angels. I believe the fold is Dutch card but I'm not 100% sure. The Magnolia image was given by a friend and colored it with Copic markers, die cut the front panel with stitched rectangle stax dies by My Favorite Things, some Wink of Stella on the wings

Stampin Up Workshop

Today my friends and I attended a SU workshop with two of the local SU demonstrators for the kick-off of the new occasion and sale-a-brations catalogs. We got to make 4 cards

For this first card, we used lovely wishes set stamped with old olive and calypso coral inks colored in with their alcohol markers calypso coral, daffodil delight and old olive. The ribbon is one of the freebies shimmer ribbon pack, the circle and scallop were cut for us so I can only assume they were from the layering circles framelits

For this card, we used waterfront set and perennial birthday set. The message on the front is from the second set and was done with chocolate chip. For the landscape we used the first set and was done with chocolate chip, pear pizzazz, tranquil tide, crushed curry & night of navy.

Normally I don't decorate the inside as I just do an insert but I did this time as that's what Luci had. Not sure if she had this message but I liked it so that's what I used 😊

For this card, we used another of the freebie items party pandas set with memento ink and yes we had to fuzzy cut each one!! we used melon mambo marker for the hat and envelope. Same color for the message. The leaves were already cut for us but I think they were from bouquet bunch framelits the "bamboo" were cut color theory DSP

for this last card, we used layered leaves dynamic textured impressions embossing folder, another freebie celebrate you thinlits die set, old olive sheer ribbon and linen thread and can't tell you what DSP was used on this one 😊

Shoebox Thursday by Kathy

For today's shoebox project, Kathy had a Valentine's project! yes I can't believe Valentine's is around the corner and she was reminded us we need to start thinking about it 😊

We used a stamp by PSX with VersaMark ink and silver stampin' emboss then we die cut the two pieces the top one we sponged with wisteria wonder ink, placed the Offray metallic ribbon and mounted the labels on foam then added some rhinestones

Shoebox Wednesday

For today's shoebox project, I made a simple thank you card. I had given a thank you card to one of my friends and all of them liked how I did the card so decided it would be a good card to have as project and since once again need to finish my donation box have to start working on cards 😊

The circle is 1-3/4" EK Success punch the anchor is a stamp by PSX stamped with crumb cake ink, the thanks is from the set heartfelt expressions by Heartfelt Creations stamped with ground espresso. Used my blending tool to add some crumb cake on the edge of the circle. Because I didn't pay attention how I was cutting my paper and my OCD some cards were one way others the other way ant that was ONLY because I wanted the anchors to match 😊 but in theory you really can't tell so it didn't matter it could go whatever way you liked best

Happy 92nd

Today we celebrated my adoptive grandma's 92nd birthday! big milestone and like I always say it's a privilege to celebrate a birthday since not everyone has that luxury.

This is the card I made for her. The Fanfare fold card idea came from Lyssa Griffin Zwolanek. I changed my measurements on the layers as I wanted them 1/16" border and also decided I wanted a full card base (8-1/2" folded in half) instead of just a 4.25" x 5.5" base for more message room and of course my decoration of panels 😊 it does fold flat for mailing but because I used heavy cardstock that was what I had on my desk it would have cost extra for mailing but since it was hand-deliver I didn't care LOL otherwise I would have just reach out for regular cardstock and probably it would have folded better

For my stamped images I used Danube blue ink, the Have a wonderful is from wonderful stamp & cut set by Hero Arts; amazing is from awesome family by Pink & Main; 92nd is from number of years by SU and the birthday is from the Classic birthdays January set by Papertrey Ink

On the Twelve Day of Christmas

Feliz Día de Reyes, Happy Epiphany! Today is the last day of Christmas so for those of you that are tired of Christmas this is the last one until Christmas in July 😁 I always get mad at the TV channels because right after Christmas they stop playing Christmas movies since we still have 12 days and they have them since October or November when they should have fall movies!!!!! oh well

This is the card I gave my family for the holiday, I got the idea from Pinterest. It's a side way gate fold, I used Ven a Belén set by SU stamped with VersaMark ink and embossed with gold embossing powder, the background was done with one of the paper lace II folders in the set by Cuttlebug
