For today's shoebox project, I had a simple card that was pretty much the same as Mary Fish's card. I used other tones of yellows but still yellows, I used pearls instead of enamel dots and different message but if you look at both cards it's pretty much the same :0)
I used avant-garden sale-a-bration set by SU with hello honey ink, forest friends set by W plus 9 same ink, my pearls were colored with Copic Marker and the banner was sponged on the edges and cut with triple banner punch by SU

Hello butterflies
This card was an idea by Maureen M. I love how she cut just a little part of the front panel and it gave the card a different look compare to a full panel :0) I used a bunch of set to do this card for the butterflies I used a set by Kaisercraft & BoBunny with my different Memento inks in the purple tones, for the empty spaces decided to use small flowers so looked in all my sets for the smallers flowers and found two paper pumpkins set...Oct 2015 and Feb. 2016, a set by Stamps of Life, and floral wings hostess set by SU, the hello is a set by Neat and Tangled that is a 3 step stamp didn't like it too much probably will only use two steps :0) and added some enamel dots from my stash

Scenery for all
When I made this card I wasn't sure what I wanted to do the card for. I love scenery cards for many things one they are simple to make especially if you don't color the image :0) so at first, I left the card with no message figure I would decide later what I would use it for, well it is one of those that can be for everything. The Mt Rainer stamp is by Rubber Rhapsody I used to love their local stamps too bad they went out of business. I stamped it with London fog ink to make it more clean and simple I just added some score lines that I did with my score board about the same distance on the 4 sides. The base of the card was 4.25" x 5.5" and the next piece was 5.25" x 8" score in half the next layer just had 1/16" border all around and the next 1/8" all around
Of course, a card like this works for sympathy as it's peaceful...message by Endless Creations

Stamp Stamp Stamp SU Workshop
Today I attended a SU workshop with two of the local demonstrators. We got to do 4 cards. Each one made two of the designs or layouts and were inspired by something they saw on Pinterest or Splitcoast, they did they're own twist to it.
For this first card, we used hostess set love you lots stamped with tuxedo black, I colored it with Copic Markers but they had blender pen and ink to color it with cucumber crush and then fuzzy cutting it. There was two options of dies for the words I chose the one that was on the Thinlits set mini treat bag. The frog is mounted on foam and the twine is thick cucumber crush

For this second card, we used that's the tag set stamped with tuxedo black and emerald envy and then got to die cut that piece with timeless tags thinlits all the other pieces were already cut for us so we just had to put together, the ribbon is ruched emerald envy. I mounted my tag with foam on the right side only
For this third card, we had to do a technique I don't like but there was no way around it, unfortunately, is the adding ink to the block with markers then stamping on paper...using so saffron, delightful dijon & crushed curry. On top we added flourish Thinlits die, they had regular white pearls and sharpie to color in black but I just put actual black pearls from my stash when I got home and instead of putting here and there I added to each dot :0) the sample had a sympathy message and it was horizontal card but when I added my flourish I didn't pay attention to the opening of my card just was making sure there was plenty of room for my message and when I was going to stamp my message I did check on the opening which was on the wrong side so message was still on the bottom but making a vertical card instead of horizontal; the message was from cottage greetings set with tuxedo black
On this fourth and last card, we used the masking technique. We stamped the girl from beautiful you set with tuxedo black then we masked it and then stamped the image from Mediterranean moments also with tuxedo black, the message is part of a word from beautiful you set stamped with tempting turquoise. We were supposed to colored with blender pens and inks but I colored mine with Copic markers just doing a little shading not a lot since at the end there was no shading done :0) I did a bit different coloring as I colored all the greenery I saw and didn't color any of the ground the original card had some "grass" color on the ground but to me it was more dirt or sand so decided to leave it uncolored otherwise it would have to be brown and then would keep coloring LOL also I mounted the top layer on foam just because

Shoebox Thursday by Candee
For today's shoebox project Candee had a card that could be used for anything and we got to pick our message, her sample was sympathy but she had the rest of the set for us to use plus two other sets so we could decide what we wanted. All products were SU but after I got home I decided to add some embellishments I had left overs from a kit, the color match perfectly the early espresso we used :0)
This was the card I came home with, we used Flourishing phrases stamp set with early espresso and whisper white organza ribbon and added some Wink of Stella which you can hardly see

But the more I looked at it just needed a little more bling but it had to be brown and I was too lazy to color some rhinestones or pearls but found these that were from a kit I didn't use and were just the perfect color. They're not mail friendly as you have to pay extra but sometimes it's worth the extra postage :0)
sorry in this photo the color changed not sure why anyway, wanted you to see how dimensional they were

Thank you
This was a quick and easy card using definitely dahlia stamp by SU. I used worn lipstick ink, melon mambo taffeta ribbon, for the message I used massive messages by Gina K Designs. I should have used different ink as I just used the same ink (worn lipstick) inked 3 more times but wasn't dark enough after it dried overnight but was too lazy to realign the stamp and stamp again

Shoebox Tuesday
For today's shoebox project I had a birthday card inspired by a card by Connie S. When I was picking my papers I found some papers that were already cut so decided to use those. All I had to do was find ink that would match the paper and would be perfect. Connie used white and black cardstock and colored ink which would be easy but I don't like to stamp on my base layer yes I know not a big deal but a lot of time we screw up and just easier to toss a short layer than the whole base or we end up cutting the piece anyway so might as well start with a short layer and glue to base :0) my OCD clicking in LOL anyway I picked two colors because I just had a few sheets of each so decided I can get rid off them all and they could pick which everone they wanted to do, one would be more of a girl/female birthday card the other could be anyone but of course more male/boy
My border between my base and first layer is 1/16" all around, I used balloon celebration SU set for my background...Connie used the same set...balloon adventures for everything I decided to add another set first, to use the older set since I hadn't use it in a while and also I wanted to use the dotty stamp for shadow so might as well use more that just one stamp :0) after stamping the background I glued to my base card. My black piece has about 1/4" border all around to the previous layer and my top white layer is about 1/16" smaller all around. I stamped my message with tuxedo black and colored in the "another year" with Spectrum Noir marker, all stamping except message on this card was done with twisted citron ink
for this card all stamping except message was done with rose bud and colored in "another year" with Copic Marker

Shoebox Thursday
For today's shoebox project I had a card inspired by Dawn G a technique she called it stained glass. I wouldn't call it that way since it didn't have glass or acetate but still did it kind of her way :0)
I used dragonfly dreams set by SU for the message with tuxedo black ink, for the dragonflies I used detailed dragonfly Thinlits dies. The black dots are enamels dots by Recollection colored with Copic Markers.
The first card I glued my outline dragonfly to my base dragonfly and then colored with alcohol markers
On the second card I colored the base dragonfly with the alcohol markers did a little little little blending and then glued my outline dragonflly

Before I attached the dragonflies to card I spritz with radiant rain shimmer mist which you can't tell on the photo but on real life you can see the shimmer I think better than the Wink of Stella

Shoebox Tuesday & Happy Valentine's Day
Happy Valentine's Day! Hope you all have a nice and sweet day. I follow my doctor's orders and didn't make valentine's cards except for immediate family. This is the card I gave Bret. The paper is a very old I had in my stash the stamp is by Penny Black colored with Copic Markers, don't know who makes the message which was stamped with tuxedo black, the circles were done with EK Success punches
Now, for my shoebox project I had wanted to make this card, I saw on Pinterest that was from Splitcoast. It was posted by eurod99. I believe she used acetate on her card.
On my card I used le blanc stack cardstock with pearlized finish by DCWV, my opening was done with deckled ovals by Spellbinders, the leaves are from two-step bird punch by SU, flower shop set stamped with tuxedo black and punch with their matching pansy punch by SU, fancy tags by Spellbinders and because I was lazy I just cut the spinner die by Papertrey and cut to size for my message. I had different messages for them to choose for this sample I use a stamp by Hero Arts

Shoebox Wednesday
We weren't able to meet on Tuesday, our normal day so we met today Wednesday and this is the project I had. I had seen a card on Pinterest by Nancy F, that thought was nice and simple but elegant. I didn't have one of the sets she used so this is my take to her card. Although I do like my card I still kind of like how hers turned out even though it was a one layer card :0) it had more color even without layers
I used one of the borders from the set by SU from way back when with sweet plum ink and the new so very much free SAB set with dusty concord and then added some rhinestones from my stash
