For this other skirt pleated card used the same sheet of K & Company stickers. My paper was also 3x12 and the scores were 5/8" and 1/4". After I scored and folded once again glued to cardstock then cut excess paper and finished it up with ribbon

Flower skirt pleated card
This is another of the skirt pleated cards I made. Pretty much use the same papers and colors just my top was different.
The butterfly and flower are K & Company sticker. For this, the skirt was again 3x12 and then I did my scoring 1/4" and 3/4" after I did all the scoring and folding I glued to cardstock then cut any excess paper and finished it with the ribbon

Skirt folded card
Remember I told you yesterday that I had played with the different skirt pleated fold card well I'll show you the different cards I made in the next few days :0)
For this one I used a jewel sticker I got at Michaels, the ribbon is SU. For my skirt I used 3x12 paper after I did my score and folds I glued the piece to pink cardstock then I cut excess paper and finishing it by adding the ribbon. The big piece is 2", the smaller pieces 1/4" and the in between 3/4"

Shoebox Tuesday
For today's shoebox project I decided to make the double skirt fold card. One of my friends wanted to do something with this technique for her mother's day card. I had played with different folds and this is one. The first card I saw was by Dream crafter on SplitCoastStampers, also one by Joanne/JoJot and of course now a lot of people are doing this. It's a fun card and pretty easy to make.
I used hostess set best thoughts by SU, the message is by Dandelion Designs. Since I'm a visual person I kind saw that the folds were between 1/2" to 1" and it works with a 12x12 paper.

For this one the set I used was Con amor, mamá by SU
This one I decided to leave it blank so I can use it for anything my message inside would be that says what this card is :0) I should have stamped my flower more center but figure if and when I'm ready to mail if I do want to add a message I would still have room

Spring card bash
Last Saturday I attended another SU workshop with a different local demonstrator, we got to make 4 spring cards. Mostly, products that are retiring.
I like it when demonstrators concentrate on working on RETIRED or retiring products especially when the new products are not available until June. Too bad all demonstrator just think about the business part...selling not showing what you can still do with things they had encouraged us to buy :0)
I made a few changes, they did a good job with their cards but there were things I just had to do my way :0)
This first card, the bush originally was done with blender pen and ink but I don't really like that medium so I used simple coloring no shading or anything with my Copic markers, I tried cutting the dragonfly with Scan N Cut but didn't work so ended up just fuzzy cutting. It was also for mother's day so I made it any occasion card. The products we used were awesomely artistic, circle of spring set, oval collection Framelits, circle punch, scallop punch, brick textured impressions embossing folder.
For this card, I changed the message, can't remember what the sample had, it was from grateful bunch set, but I wanted something more generic :0) this stamp -by Endless Creations -was on my desk so that's what I used. Other supplies Lots of labels Framelits, botanical builder Framelits and the curvy corner triple punch
For this card, pretty much was like sample except I use a different message. Since the set was at our disposal we could pick whatever we wanted. We used everything Eleanor, hexagon hive Thinlits, and many more set, word window punch, stitched satin ribbon
This last card, we had two choices I use neither one LOL the first sample was a wedding card and it had the couple on top of the roof. The second was a travel card, it had suitcases on top of the roof and a dog in the back window. I decided not to use anything with my car. The background was colored with the acrylic block as a stamp, but as you know I don't like that technique so I decided just to use ink with sponges creating clouds with a template; for my ground so the car wasn't flying I used a washi tape I got at Impress. Colored the car with Copic markers. The other supplies were serene silhouettes and beautiful ride. This car reminds me of my very first car 1966 and second car 1992 :0)

Spring Stamp-A-Stack
On Saturday, I attended a SU workshop with one of the local demonstrators we got to make 12 cards, 6 different designs.
These are the 6 designs we made
For this first card, I didn't like the shadow but I had already ruined my pieces and although I normally do have extra paper I do not own any shimmer paper, oh well, when and if I redo the card will make sure I don't do that. Maybe is the watercolor that I hate doing, should have left it uncolored and used my Copic Markers when I got home :0)
This card, the alignment of flowers was different and I did my knot on the other side :0)
For this card, I didn't use the message that was available I used a message from another SU set after I got home. We were supposed to cover the starfish with glitter but I don't like glitter as it's too messy so I added Wink of Stella instead (which you can't see on photo)
This card, other than how I set the flowers I pretty much did it like the sample
For this card, we were supposed to use an acrylic block as stamp but I don't like how that looks so wanted to do something else. Also, the message was forever friends so decided to use thank you as I'm working on thank you cards for donation.
For this last card, I added my tag sort of like hanging from top. I finished this card at home and since I did remember how the original card was and the battery on camera was dead so couldn't check :0) so I also missed adding the bermuda bay ribbon around the watermelon wonder ribbon, also changed the message to a stamp by Savvy Stamps and probably the arrangement of the flowers was off

Shoebox Tuesday
A friend recently died of a brain tumor so when I found Gray Matters Foundation, an organization that supports people with brain tumors and thought was the perfect place to support. They need thank you cards as well as any day cards. I asked my friends if they wanted to help out since the two boxes, one for Taylored Expressions and the other for Christel House International went out Friday, I needed a new goal well I already had one doing cards for children, will do that box after this one :0) Anyway, decided to make my shoebox for thank you card :0)
The flower is regarding dahlia by SU, the background is ink blot by CTMH, the message Heartfelt Creations

Froggy
Wanted a manly card but wasn't sure if I wanted as birthday or thinking of you so decided not to add a message until I was ready to use
The template was from an Iris Folding book, the insert was from a local stamp store, the grass is a Martha Stewart punch and the brad from my stash

Inspire
This card was mostly simple as all I did was stamp the Memory Box stamp on background paper twice one as the background and one as the butterfly. The hardest part was fuzzy cutting the butterfly :0)

Balloon
This is the second card I gave my girlfriend. I had borrowed the Celebrate Today Stamp Set & Balloon Framelit dies by SU to work on graduation cards and since I had the set on my desk decided to use it for this card.
It was a pretty clean and simple card. Went to my scrap drawer and grab different pieces of blue then I die cut the balloons. I stamped the shadow and happy birthday on them and then did my card base which had a partial section of acetate. I also added a little texture on the front as it was like too much white :0) the stamp I used was by CTMH
Because I adhered the balloons partially on the acetate and of course my OCD would not be happy if I saw the adhesive on the back I added the same color balloons on the inside except didn't stamp the happy birthday. Decided to stamp the strings on the inside panel and since they looked like they were just flying out of place after the card was open...if you notice on top it looks just perfect. I stamped a line like if the message was on a balloon and the 3 strings were hanging from it.

Shoebox Thursday
Today is by best friend and adoptive family member's birthday
I made her two cards as I celebrated her birthday two days :0) this is the first card I gave her. I had been wanting to make this fold, the idea came from Sharon Burkert. Actually, I bought this SU set because of her card :0)
The front just looks like her fold card, I think is called split front panel

but as always I changed the way the card itself was, on my card base is a whole panel just missing the two pieces on each side...I know more work but I like nice and smooth look on the inside as well as the outside and it was bugging me the glued piece :0). Messages are Endless Creations
Now for our Shoebox Project, Kathy had for us a card with some stamps she bought on her recent trip to Hawaii. We all got to pick one of the stamps we used as a souvenir from her trip and I picked Aloha

Thinking of you
I love embossing folders, they make nice and easy cards with the least of effort. For this card, I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder, decided just to color the leaves and stems add ribbon and Spellbinders tag die. The message is by Endless Creations

Shoebox Tuesday
For today's shoebox project I had another thinking of you card.
For this card, I used several stamp sets surprisingly. The idea was from Nan Cee on Pinterest from Split Coast Stampers. The dots is a stamp by CTMH, the messages is by Endless Creations and the other 3 items are by SU

One great year
When I first got/opened this Paper Pumpkin, December 2015 I complain and complain because I thought, still think, it was a very expensive kit for the supplies we got. A useless stamp set, ONLY 12 4x6 decorative papers and a few embellishments to make a calendar. I have never bought a calendar for $22 and when I made calendars many years ago never cost me that much. I still make pocket calendars and for that price, I could make 30. I have to say that I had fun working on the cards. I was able to make 23 cards, still feel wasn't enough supplies as most of the things were from my stash.
Once again I picked a few stamp, inks, punches and embellishments and started working on the cards. Makes it easier if I just have to reach within my desk to get supplies. I do have to clean my desk after I'm done with a box as it's just way too much messy so big distraction for an OCD person having so much stuff out :0)
For this one card, I used a set & matching bird punch by SU, the background is a CTMH stamp set, message is also SU

For this one, the message is Endless Creations and the flower is from the same CTMH stamp ser
For this one is another SU stamp set, message is also SU, different set :0) I ran out of banners from the kit so used a third SU set and "matching" die to cut the banner
Same SU stamp set and matching bird punch as the first card, SU ribbon and the message is Stamp A Mania
The same CTMH stamp set and Stamp a Mania message
the message is SU set, the doily is from my stash I think I got it at Dollar Tree, its part of a big heart
The message is V.I.P., the ribbon, as well as background stamp on the next two cards are SU
the message on this one is unknown
last design, the message is SU set, as well as the ribbon and this is the only card that I used the useless stamp set :0) so technically is not completely useless LOL
