This is another card I made with friends of a feather kit October 2018. I used cajun craze ink with chalk it up to love paper pumpkin August 2015, crumb cake with gorgeous grunge set, also sponged one of the feathers with it. and baked brown sugar thick baker's twine. Everything else is from kit

Stampin Up Workshop

Today a friend and I went to one of the local SU demonstrators for a birthday card bash. Almost all products are SU.

For this first card, we used classic garage suite that included classic garage 6"x6" DSP, geared up garage set with basic gray ink and garage gears thinlits dies. The car originally was to be colored with crushed curry and blender pen but I colored mine with Copic Markers and that is why the almost all products are SU 😊

For this next card, we used needlepoint nook suite which included the DSP, the old olive linen thread, needle & thread set with poppy parade ink and needlepoint elements framelits dies

The next set of cards were pretty much the same except we had to pick colors to match the card base and ribbon and the message on the block was either birthday or belated birthday but I decided to use a different message. We used garden impressions DSP and itty bitty birthdays set with tuxedo black ink, everyday label punch, and the two ribbons were calypso coral satin and metallic-edge berry burst

For the next card, we used gingham gala DSP, beach happy set with tuxedo black, lovely lipstick, balmy blue, crumb cake and lemon lime twist inks. The circles were 1-1/2" and 1-3/4" punches.

For the last set of cards we did a type of one sheet wonder but instead of doing the whole sheet we just did the center of the full 8.5" x 11" sheet about 4" give or take, top to bottom with the painted seasons sale-a-brations set with highland heather, granny apple green, shaded spruce and melon mambo inks after we were done as we liked our piece we got to cut and make our 4 cards. I changed mine a bit but in general they were closed enough to the samples 😊

The first one we used another sale-a-bration set, part of my story, with highland heather ink, gorgeous grape mini striped ribbon, and melon mambo glitter enamel dots. I changed the message on this one and how the ribbon was, I didn't want it going all over the inside of the card first think is a waste so I just put side to side with a knot just should have done my knot a little more to the left but oh well

The next card was using the coordinating punch story label and the I use the same stamp from part of my story set with highland heather ink and gorgeous grape glitter enamel dots. This card was up with the message more to the left but just felt it was leaving too much emptiness 😊

For the next card, I used another story label punch for my message which is from the set well said and the birthday is from the framelits well written. For this one it was with out the label but the stamp label was off set so I aligned it to the label and it stamped it crocked so to fix it restamped it and punched it and it was like it was meant that way

Last but not least, we used decorative ribbon border punch and I used both messages from the framelits well written. This card the birthday was supped to be stamped on the white area but I didn't have room so I decided to die cuts worked better

This is another card I made using the friends of a feather kit October 2018. I used night of navy ink with blissful bouquet paper pumpkin set October 2015 punched out the message with the extra oval punch by SU everything else was from kit.

Shoebox Thursday by Darlene

For today's project Darlene had an Easter card. We used cross of hope framelits die and hold onto hope set with melon mambo ink, the words are from the die set Happy Easter by Impression Obsession and the ovals are from stitched set by MFT

This is another card that was done with the friends of a feather kit October 2018. I used the set something good to eat paper pumpkin set September 2016 with cajun craze ink everything else was from kit. I sponged the leaves with the ink.

Shoebox Tuesday

For today's project I decided to work on an Easter card. It was a little more work this time as there was a little more die cutting plus sponging but still was less than an hour to create and other than the green paper all the peeps were cut with scraps of papers.

For the sky we used a template and tumbled glass ink with sponge dauber, the message is somebunny wishing Easter by Endless Creation with VersaFine Clair nocturne. For the grass was prairie grass steel die by MB each person got to pick their size of grass hill. For the peeps they had their option of doing them all yellow, mix of yellow and pink or mix of yellow, pink and blue and they could put their colors anywhere they wanted. And they also got to pick their eyes and nose with rhinestones although I use pearls from stash for mine

Baby announcements

My sister needed some baby boy announcements for a co-worker as a gift set so she picked the card fold she wanted and this is what I came up

The words are is an old Fun Stamps & Stampendous stamp on chipped sapphire ink

On the front tab I put vellum so it could protect the photo they were going to put

and the back was done with the computer

Ice cream sunday card kit

This is one of the Krazy Kreations peel-off card kits. Everything on the card came in the kit except for the markers. I added the peel-off stickers on the glitter paper then colored with Copic Markers and fuzzy cut the ice cream Sunday, hearts and spoons the put together the card. This kit included supplies for 3 cards

Happy anniversary

For this card I saw a card from Kylie Bertucci so figure I can check my stamps and do something similar I used wilted violet, Bermuda bay and lemon lime twist inks and my message was computer generated for Gray Matters Foundation

Shoebox Thursday

Happy first day of spring! I know for some of you today is not the first day because you go by what the weather man says but to me it will always be March 21st regardless of what the weather man says!!

For today's project, I have a simple card using the country floral sale-a-bration dynamic textured impressions embossing folder.  I embossed my piece on a pearled shimmery cardstock and then with a sponge dauber I applied spun sugar ink only on the big roses then added Offray ribbon that sort of matched the ink. Decided no to add a message that way it could be used for anything as some will be for my donation box others for personal use.

Last one for now

One last one for now one sheet wonder for Gray Matters Foundation. for This one I made my front a little shorter than the back and glued a strip of glitter paper to the bottom where the opening is and the other on the tope so when you open the card there is a piece as well as in the front

Same messages as yesterday happy stamp & cut by HA with hybrid black licorice ink, computer generated word punched out with SU's classic label and border made with ruler

For today's project I have a card using Rachel Tessman's card fold idea strip fold. I had to make a birthday card of one of my birthday club ladies so decided to use the same card as my project and these cards will be included in my donation box. My friends did the thinking of you but the others are messages that work for my donation box also.

The carnation is a stamp by Make An Impression stamped with poppy parade ink, the thinking of you is from the set dazzling dahlia by Gina K, pearls were colored with Copic Marker

More One sheet wonder

Some more cards for Gray Matters Foundation, for these cards I stamped my happy by HA stamp & cut set with hybrid black licorice ink and the other messages was computer generated punched it out with SU's classic label then cut around the border with ruler

Happy St Patrick's Day

Irish or not hope you have a happy green day! This is the card I made for Bret. The front was pretty simple as the main decoration went on the inside.

The shamrock frame is by Stamps Happen, the message is by Viva Las Vegastamps, and the shamrock by Alota Rubber Stamps all of them stamped with forest moss ink.

For the inside, I did the leprechaun and pot of gold on separate cardstock and the rainbow I did leave on the whole piece as the die is either one whole piece with border or each individual pieces and I didn't want to piece it or the border, all stamps are by The stamps of Life from leprechaun2stamps and rainbow2stamp sets colored with Copic Markers so I stamped the message with forest moss everything else with tuxedo black then I colored with my markers after I was done coloring I restamped with VersaFine Clair nocturne as I have mention before I love this ink but is not Copic friendly so making the extra work gives me the perfect color I like. I did forget and moved my leprechaun so had to start over just my OCD because I didn't use my stamp positioner and decided to eyeball it LOL anyway as long as I do what I say all the time all is good! I used the matching dies for the leprechaun left a border but not on the pot. The border is hydrangeas edger punch by MS somehow I always thought it was a clover border punch but it wasn't guess we see what we want to see LOL

Congrats glitter

These were another one sheet wonder cards done for Gray Matters Foundation also with glitter paper. Love this paper pack I think I got it at Hobby Lobby unfortunately it was just patterns it would have been great if it had solid colors but oh well at least I was able to play with glitter LOL the words are from Congrats stamp & cut set by HA with tuxedo black, the enamel dots on the first card are by Recollection and were colored with Spectrum Noir and the second card are Sticko dimensional stickers

One sheet wonder glitter

These cards were done with the one sheet wonder technique, I used glitter paper which I love because it is shiny but it doesn't rub off anywhere!!!!! no matter what you do with it there is no glitter on your work surface.

I used big bold you set by Winnie & Walter with tuxedo black ink and I found a jewel that sort of match my paper so added it to some of the cards. These cards were also donated to Gray Matters Foundation

Today's card was a clean and simple card that Darlene made with my/our favorite color it was just one ink for everything grape jelly just stamping until there was no ink

Happy 9th Birthday

Yesterday was our "grand-daughter's" 9th birthday, time sure flies! feels like yesterday when we were told she was 7 and now she's 9 going on 14!!

This is the card I made for her after seeing a card at Cindy Lee Bee Designs and Lori's inkin' stories.
I used party panda sale-a-bration set by SU, I stamped it on tuxedo black ink first, did all the coloring I needed with Copic markers and then restamped it with VersaFine Clair nocturne. The second ink is not Copic friendly but love how black it is so decided to try this way, makes it more work but to me was worth it. Using a stamping tool is not problem as long as you remember not to move the stamps LOL otherwise you have to use the stamp positioner or start all over. Also used number of years set also by SU with VersaFine Clair nocturne and Tina happy birthday stamp by Endless Creations same ink, sweet sugarplum glimmer assortment sale-a-bration paper pack with glossy accent as I HATE this glitter paper is as bad as using normal glitter, just getting it out of the package you have glitter everywhere! Anyway I cut the balloon with balloon bouquet punch and cover it completely with glossy accent so there was no more glitter coming off it but you can still see the glitter. I created clouds around the pandas and middle panel with a template and big sponge dauber with tumbled glass ink

Shoebox Tuesday

For today's project I have a simple card. I wanted to use the tufted dynamic textured impression embossing folder before I put it away and also wanted used up some of my papers and since I want to start another donation box thought these card would work good. I made them in 3 messages two of them as they works for one of my foundation, the other for my personal use. My friends got to use the first one

The two messages in English are by Endless Creations and the one in Spanish is SU as well as the folder and all 3 were stamped with gathered twigs ink. The ovals were by SU and EK Success and pearls from my stash
