SU Workshop

Today we attended a Stampin Up workshop with one of the local demonstrator. We got to make 3 cards.

This first card was using two of the freebies from sale-a-bration one was beautiful peacock and the other shimmer pack ribbon, 1/4" basic gray. For the stamping we used basic gray, fresh fig, lemon lime twist, night of navy & powder pink. The message was punch out of the 1" circle punch. Not sure if you can see but between the fresh fig cardstock there is a layer of basic gray cardstock...there is 1/8" between the fresh fig and basic gray and 1/16" between the basic gray and whisper white

For this card, we used petal palette set with lemon lime twist ink and it was supposed to be basic black but since I don't like that ink we used tuxedo black 😊 the papers are from the petal passion DSP and the ribbon is lemon lime twist 1/4" ombre

and for the last card, we had part of the base embossed with softly falling textured impressions embossing folder, the stamping was done with magical day set, the message with berry burst ink and was mounted on top of dazzling diamonds glimmer paper; Lisa had pre-stamped and die cut the mermaid and seahorse to make things quicker so I can only assume it was done with tuxedo black since we were supposed to color with alcohol markers but since they were predone they could have been done with basic black ink 😊 as after complete dry maybe the ink is ok, don't know if that ink is ok for those markers since I don't like it to own one. I used my Copic Markers to do the coloring on my images and they were mounted with foam. The paper is from myths & magic specialty DSP. I added some Wink of Stella on the mermaid instead of glitter
