6th Day of Christmas

Happy New Year's Eve! 2022 was not a good year in many ways for my family & I. A year with several loses and bad health but we have learned to be thankful for the little things. We ended 2021 with the loss of my mom which we didn't have time to grieve her properly when we suffer an even greater loss my youngest sibling, my sister América who had barely turned 55 on Christmas Day, she passed on Valentine's Day.

Also, in February we lost my mom's sister so now she only has two sister's left out of 13 siblings. She was 87.

My godfather passed in April at age 86.

The son of one of the adoptive aunts passed in July.

There was finally a new COVID-19 vaccines that is good for a year just like the flu shot and you can get it both at the same time so for the plus side most people can get it together and two birds with one stone one trip no hassle and most pharmacies have walk-ins for both and they help with two illness that are so bad for us and for those that don't get the flu shot they can still get this and help with this pandemic that still over us. Queen Elizabeth II died after 70 years on the Monarch. Ukraine was attacked by Russia

On the happy moments my foster sister had her 3rd grandbaby born in February, Juliette. A cousin also had a grandbaby in April, Riker. A foster cousin also had another grandbaby in May, Edith.

Our niece moved to San Antonio for college. Our oldest granddaughter started 7th grade and she's into basketball and you can tell why LOL

and our youngest granddaughter started kindergarten she love ballet

Bret & I celebrated our 27th anniversary visiting Mt Rainier; most of the time being in the summer we get to have good weather and we can be away from people and out of the house for a change.

Now for today's card, used for all white cardstock Accent Opaque Digital International Paper cover smooth. Started by grabbing a layer of  80 lb. then stamped my image from holiday poinsettia candle precut stamp set by Heartfelt Creations with MFT Hybrid black licorice ink, did simple coloring with Copic markers.  For the centers I didn’t want to worry about the tiny dots while coloring with red so I just added tiny candy yellow jewel stickers by MB. Die cut with double stitched rectangle die by Kat Scrappiness and mounted to a layer of Park Lane 110 lb. smooth black solid core cardstock die cut with Cindy Echtinaw Designs Card Creator Perfect Layers A and mounted to an A2 card base 120 lb. white cardstock. Then decided I wanted a message and picked hope from fight like a girl a special breast cancer stamp set by A Muse Studio and stamped it with VersaFine Clair nocturne twice
