This past weekend (May 16 & 17) was the Heirloom Stamp Convention in Puyallup WA. It was even smaller than last year only 18 booths and this was including SU & CTMH.
My favorite booth is Endless Creations from WI. We spend a lot of time there not just visiting with Beth & Kevin but shopping and doing the make & takes.
Other favorites are Local King Rubber Stamps from Canada, Rubbernecker Stamps, Art Impressions/Stamptown and Tessler Stamps/Stencil Co. but we try to stop at ALL booths that are stamping related which were Creations Unlimited, B&J's Art Stamps, Just Imagine, Lost Coast Designs, Craft Fantastic, Animal Spirits Stamps, The Stamp Doctor. There are some that we just don't care for what they sell so we skip :0) doesn't meant they're not worth it for other people :0) Washi Accents, Origami Owl, Craft Fantastic, Bello Modo
The disappointment part was finding out that they have decided not to come next year to Puyallup. It would be nice if they would just find a cheaper place if the fairground is expensive any way with the amount of booths they have any meeting room in a hotel would be perfect or maybe there is other places they could use that aren't that expensive for the companies to come. I remember when I first started attending this show it was two floors and it was so packed that was hard to see the demos and things but was fun :0)
Anyway in the next few days I'll be showing you the cards I made on the make and takes.
To start these were done at Endless Creations
This is one of the new pre-made flip flag cards. Images were colored with Copic Markers. The original card only had two wiggly eyes I added one to each fish :0)
The next two cards were in the same kit, they're note cards 3.5" x 5" I love the stamping on newsprint or music notes :0)
