I didn't make any of this for Easter but it was a Sunday Tip or Technique and since I'm sharing the cards I made for the holiday I would share this too :0)
The very light message is part of a SU stamp set, the grass is a MS punch and for the egg shape I used Spellbinders die and the inside was done with two washi tapes that I think I got at JoAnn the ribbon was from my stash

Shoebox Thursday
Today's shoebox project was one I had ready over a year ago, seemed like I was always finding something else I wanted to do but with my hand it worked out perfectly :0) It's an upright "z" fold card
The stamp set is by Heartfelt Creations stamped with rich cocoa. The set comes with two messages so I gave them the option on what message they wanted to use. I used an old SU punch for the slit and the pearls are by Recollections

Shoebox Tuesday
My hand hasn't been well lately so decided to finally start working on my Paper Pumpkin kits and any other card kit as it's minimal stamping pretty much is put together and violà anyway for my shoebox project I made this Simple Sent Sealed with Love by SU from a couple years ago??
The kit was for little note cards but I decided to mount that into a regular A2 card base so it could be displayed on it's on, also it gave room for personal note :0)
This is the card flat. The envelopes came double sided paper the inside was way too busy for me that's why it's on the inside so the notecard could cover part of it :0) The "faux" stitching was done with Memento dual marker and ruler

Tuesday try this
We had a Tuesday Try This that was using embossing folders as stamps or applying ink to them before embossing. Since I had to do a card with the theme "By the shore" I decided to use a new embossing folder killing two birds with one stone...using something new and the TTT. I didn't think it gave me what I wanted by just using the folder as stamp, maybe it was the folder I picked (by Darice) so I also embossed my paper.I added a little seashell brad in the wave and a beach ball brad as it was floating back to the beach :0) both brads are by Outlet Eyelet & Brads, the air balloon is a new die & stamp set by The Stamps of Life

Stampin' Up stamp camp
I attended a little stamp camp. We did two card each with different technique. All supplies are SU except for the Copic Markers
This first card was doing our own texture plate and we did it with autumn accents Bigz die. I colored my flower with Copic Markers as I don't like the blender pen and ink :0)

For this card we did Bokeh technique. I have done this technique but not with watercolor paper and waterbrush. It was a little messy and you really need to let the paper dry completely otherwise your top stamping will run :0) I used the heatgun but guess I should have dried it more time as you can see the message is a little runny so I dried it a while more before adding the sunburst. Also I think I would cut my piece and mount on another clean paper just because either I didn't press much on the painters tape or I used too much water as it ran and it's just my OCD that kicks in and bugs me LOL

Vintage butterfly
I had the butterfly as well as the layer with happy birthday as left-over project so decided to finish it by doing almost the same as when I did the workshop but instead of using a button I used some of the flower trim colored with Copic Airbrush System

Black & white
Remember the card I did as shoe-box project with the butterfly, well I had all the black butterflies left over so this is one of the cards I did.
I cut off an opening with one of Spellbinders labels die then I cover that opening with the butterflies
the message is a stamp by Rubber Marbles stamped on a Spellbinders tag die and the ribbon is from my stash

Sunday Tip or Technique
Another of the Sunday Tip or Technique was making background paper with alcohol markers. When I did my cards I was on the lazy side and just grabbed Copic markers that were handy. What we had to do was dab some markers on a plastic then spritz with alcohol and then set glossy paper on top. Originally I wasn't going to do this as I thought it was messy but was told it wasn't TO ME it was messy :0) it sort of like a marveling look.
For this first card I use a Spellbinders die that had never been used, the message is a very old PSX stamp, the ribbon is SU and the rhinestones Recollections
For this one the message is a very old Connors Collectibles stamp, the circle is an EK Success punch the flip flops are a die by The Stamps of Life another thing that is new, as well as the SU ribbon

What's bugging you?
I hate all kinds of bugs but somehow when it comes to cards I don't mind using them. On one of my trips to JoAnn's found these cool stickers of bugs they look so real like :0) anyway after I got them I just didn't know what to do with them as they seem a little big and real but then we had this mingle that was to use bugs of any kind so I made these cards
I used a Darice embossing folder adding the ink to the folder. For the jar which was a digital image I did the same but I used the folder the opposite side so one part of the card is embossed and the other is debossed. the grass is a Martha Stewart punch. I don't know who made the stickers but aren't they cool even if they're bugs :0)

Sunday Tip or Technique
Since it still winter here is a card I did with one of the Sunday Tip or Technque. I think this is a cute snowman card. The eyes are adhesive faux pearls from my stash, the nose is the carrot from Impress, again I cut off the green part and I drew the mouth with Copic Multi Liner
