Happy Birthday

This was a card that was finished from my box of unfinished projects the embossed layer and red piece were done so all I had to do was put a white piece for my message and mount on a base and finish the card so this is what I ended up making and the card went into my donation box to Gray Matter Foundation

I added pearls on each intersection of the embossing and stamped with VersaFine Clair nocturne ink my message from blockandscriptsentiments2stamp by The Stamps of Life

Vintage Hues Vellum Card Kit

I made these cards with the Stamp on It dragonfly square Vintage Hues Vellum card kit. Once again I made some in black and I mounted mine on foam

An alternate for the I’ll bee yours January 2020 kit. I cut my layer with stitched Rectangle die by The Stamps of Life then I cut my honeycomb remnant steel craft die by MB did some spraying with distress oxide spray fossilized amber when it was dry I stamped my greeting from butterfly wishes set by SU with VersaFine Clair ink nocturne. I used the bee printed die-cut pieces from kit colored with Zig memory system pure black pigment ink fine pen and Spectrum Noir sparkle Crystal clear glitter brush and Wink of Stella black glitter brush

Since I cut all my card bases into half and then made them into layers there were about 1/4" pieces of scraps left over on all of them I was going to toss them at first but then decided I had some of the coordinating card stock colors of the kit that I could make cards and still had some flower die-cut stickers and rhinestones left over so this is what I made with the scraps and left overs.

For these I used old olive ink and sending hoping wishing set by W plus 9

for these ones also added Nuvo Crystal Drops bottle green

and for these crushed curry ink and Nuvo Crystal Drops gloss dandelion yellow

Decorated the front with die-cut stickers and laser-cut foil stickers. Then stamped my message with the kit's set on a die-cut foil label and the ink that came in the kit terracotta tile

After the card from yesterday, I had the piece left from where I punched out my butterflies. It was part of the note card of the I'll bee yours January 2020 kit so decided not to waste and make this card sort of monochromatic, used Parklane woodgrain paper and found another green paper I had that was in the green tones just smaller pattern to cover the opening then added the rhinestones and then just a message with VersaFine Clair ink nocturne with Blockandscriptsentiments2stamp set by The Stamps of Life

Another alternative card for the I’ll bee yours January 2020 kit. This card fits a check envelope, those small skinny ones about 3-1/2 x 6-1/2 or something like that anyway I used one of the note cards from the kit open the cards were 3x3 when closed. I stamped with kit's set and mint macaron ink (2 times) the background on the note card, the message is from Sentimental rose paper pumpkin April 2019 set on the die-cut banner which was also from this kit. The butterflies done with butterfly duet punch and added Nuvo Crystal Drops bottle green

Happy Birthday

Today is the birthday of a dear friend and one of his hobbies is fishing although he hasn't gone fishing in a while. I used my oxide inks (faded jeans, broken china and tumbled glass) to do the background with life changing blender brushes and after I was happy with my background I used my cloud templates to add some texture with tumbled glass. I die cut the fish and added a white pearl as an eye, green beads for the shaker behind it was some Parkland woodgrain paper. The birthday greeting is from the think big favorite mini set by Papertrey Ink with VersaFine Clair nocturne, the bottom cattails were stamped with mossy meadow ink and is Stampscapes

Today is one of the DIL's birthday and I sent her one of my alternative of the lovely day February 2020 kit I used one of the card base of the kit cut in half then using the kit's stamp set stamped the biggest flower with VersaFine Clair ink Nocturne all over then used one of the foil foam word sticker that came in the kit and to embellish added some Nuvo Crystal Drops copper penny

I also used some of the die-cut sticker flowers with dimensionals and then used one of the die-cut foil labels and the kit's set with the terracotta tile ink that came in the kit

This is another alternative card I made with the I’ll bee yours January 2020 kit. I used falling petals textured impressions embossing folder, one of the paper bags & cards from kit, some of the whisper white baker’s twine from kit and stamped the message from the kit's set, guess it's more like for a wedding but at the end isn't it what we expect of an anniversary too?! I used mint macaron ink (stamped 2-3 times)

This is one of my alternative cards for the I’ll bee yours January 2020 kit. I used one of the paper bags from kit and a bee printed die-cut from kit colored with Zig memory system pure black pigment ink fine pen, added some Spectrum Noir sparkle Crystal clear glitter brush. The message is from fresh rainbow sentiments set by Waffle Flower with mint macaron ink (stamped 2-3 times)

After I made this card I had all the flowers to use for something else so this is what I ended up making. Very simple card just glued all the flowers and dots that came out of the Easter egg fold it die by The Stamps of Life and then cut my layers with double stitched rectangles dies by Kat Scrappiness. For my message I picked one from my tray this one is from Taylored Expressions simple strips brackground stamp & matching die with VersaFine Clair nocturne ink.

I stamped a bunch of scraps with this background stamp and die cut them so I can have them handy for quick card so I can just pick a message. Personally, I don't think the die matches perfectly if you align with the marks it comes with but I have a bit of OCD

Showering birthday wishes

A dear friend is celebrating her birthday and this is the card I sent her. I used raining frame die by Poppy Stamps and well this die was perfect for a shaker cards as it die cuts the umbrella  and since I'm still into shaker card had to make one hahaha so I covered the opening with acetate and added foam and my beads that were gifts from another friend, for the message I used dew drop ink Danube blue with two stamp sets, the showering you with is from wishing you the best by Birch Press Design and the birthday wishes is from elegant asters card kit by Gina K Design

Happy Easter

Hoping everyone is having a blessed Easter even if this year we are not able to spend it with family at least we are not able to since we live in WA and we are locked in our homes but have plans that as soon as we are able to get together we will do something. It won't have an Easter celebration obviously but a thankful gathering. All in all we are grateful to be healthy even if away from our loved ones and missing each other's company we have them in our hearts. This photo is from last year, two aunts didn't come

As much as I love making shaker cards they are hard to photograph. For this one I added prairie grass die by MB and did some shading on the tip with a Copic marker then I stamped my message by Stamptastic with dew drop ink Danube blue and then did the shaker egg that is Easter egg foldit die by The Stamps of Life. A friend gave me a bunch of beads so I could use on my shakers and I sure have been having fun they were all colors some I separated others I left as they were then I added the grass die by The Stamps of Life

This was a quick Easter card. I used a background paper I got at JoAnn I think that gives the illusion of shaving cream technique and then just added the Easter die cut, added a pearl on each flower center

When I was looking into my Easter things I had these paper scraps that I think at some point I was going to do something but either I ran out of time or just didn't do anything so I had three choices either they went into my donation box, recycle bin or did something with it so I did something.

I looked into my Easter images to see what I could used with the opening and this image by Great Impressions worked good. I stamped it with Altenew's crisp ink permanent black and colored with Copic markers then using one of my clouds templates and a sponge dauber applied tumbled glass ink on the egg I also applied some Nuvo Jewel Drops limoncello and to embellish some Nuvo Crystal Drops rhubarb crumble

This was an alternative to be mine Valentine January 2019 kit. I used the pillow box from kit cut as layer, label die-cut from kit and stamped with pool party (stamped 2-3 times as it was not dark enough) from sentimental rose paper pumpkin April 2019 set, the Kangaroo is die-cut piece from kit and I anchored it with a Copic marker, and finally added the pool party sycamore street ribbon

Used Die-namics stitiched rec stax by MFT, the stamp A paper hug stamp is by Picket Fence Studio with crisp dye ink industrial diamond the flowers were punch from itty bitty accents punch pack put Nuvo Crystal Drops gloss bubblegum blush in the center to close the gate fold I used a daisy brad from stash

Quick male birthday card. First I stamped my background with Egyptian wall background stamp by Local King Rubber Stamp with Amalgam ink whisper then die cut my layer with stitched rectangle die by The Stamps of Life and stamped the car from Route 66 stamp set by Local King Rubber Stamp with distress ink fired brick and using dual marker tuxedo black cover the tires then used a washi tape I got at Impress. I stamped my message from happycalligraphy2stamp set by The Stamps of Life with VersaFine Clair ink nocturne
