Happy New Year's Eve

Happy 6th Day of Christmas!! Another year gone how fast it went or maybe the older we get it just seems that they go faster must be the old age that time goes faster and faster LOL

This year just like every year we got some losses unfortunately seems like each year we've losses but this year again there were also new additions not enough to compensate our losses but something to be grateful so not just something to be sad about. In February my foster cousin Barb had her first grand-daughter Nola born from oldest son Jesse and in November her second grand-daughter Amelia from her youngest son Eli.

On the sad part in January uncle Arturo, he was married to my mom sister's died, early in the summer one of our stamping friends loss both of her parents; later in the summer a stamping friend died some of you might know her Paula Panart, also early fall we loss another stamping friend Robin Goodson, also in one of my Yahoo Groups Bobbie Nessly passed; Dave the partner of a stamping friend also passed this fall but the biggest loss of all this year was in August, Grandma Martha at age 92. She has been missed specially during Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners.

In May our niece graduated from Prepa which is the equivalent to High School

One of my foster cousin's stepson Brody was in an accident in late summer and was in the hospital for a while, he is back at home but still recuperating so thoughts and prayers are still going for him and his family.

Bret and I celebrated our 23rd anniversary in August we were back hiking in the North Bend area but this time we were lucky to have a private tour to a waterfall which is the only way you can see it.

Our youngest son Jacob, moved in with his girlfriend Brittney and her daughter just before school started which to us gave us a "grand-daughter" Paris, she's 8 years old.

Our other grand-daughter Samantha turned 2 this year old this November

In October one of our stamping friends rejoin our play days or our stamping days and just after my birthday another of our friends came back from MN for a very short visit so we were able to spend a few play days with her

And now for the project, this is the Christmas card I made for Paris, I used Spellbinders reindeer die. To give it a little life I added some ink with blending tool as well as making a frame with ink and sponge. The berries on the holly are rhinestones. The message on front is from Heartfelt Creations's set Christmas song with scallop oval punch and extra-large oval punch, the openings were done with 2.25" & 2.5" circle punches by EK, the inside message is from season like Christmas set by SU all stamping was done with rhubarb stalk
