Seems like everyone is making this kind of cards so decided to give it a try, to see how easy or how much time it would take me to make more. The box itself from cutting, scoring, folding and decorating was not even 15 min and the pop-up butterflies maybe another 20 min. I used the clear packaging to attach the butteflies (the one where the dies, embossing folder etc comes in) I was going to use acetate but this was sturdier.
When you get it out of the envelope it's a 4x4 fold card and this is how it will look
This is the box open
You are talented with all these folds, for sure, Yara. This card opens into a real surprise and I'm sure any recipient will be thrilled with it. Adorable and looks like you spent way more time than that on it . . .
ReplyDeleteThanks Lillian. I think all card folds go faster after you have watch a tutorial IF you don't know how to make it. Then like Brandy mention more than once you need to get all your supplies together before you start a project so you don't get distracted or side track.
