Shoebox Tuesday

I don't normally make 4th of July cards but for today's shoebox project I wanted to do a card similar to one I saw on Pinterest since my ship was too small had to do something to cover the big area :0) that's when I thought fireworks. I'm still showing my friends the different stair step cards so this is what I made

The fireworks stamp is by Great Impressions, the ship is by Local King, the message Savvy Stamps, also used SU's word window punch and modern label punch, rhinestones from my stash and the twine cording is by Maya Road

This is another of the cards for O.R.C.A.S the ribbon came with the ombre color which I love and got at Michaels very long time ago

For this card for O.R.C.A.S I used ribbon from JoAnn Fabric I believe is Offray and the border punch is Martha Stewart. Folder is Cuttlebug

For today's shoebox project I made another step card. I used the Sale-A-Bration irresistible yours DSP with Memento ink and stamping sponges and a Hero Arts stamp set

Birthday card

Today is Bret's birthday so I made him a card like the one I did for my dad except in English. They both like or appreciate old/vintage cars so thought they would enjoy this card. I saw something on Pinterest that gave me the idea. The stamps are from a set by Sparkle N Sprinkle, the message for Bret's card is from A Muse Stamps

For my dad I used SU's Elegancia Esencial set

Since there was a miscommunication with O.R.C.A.S. as I thought they were coming to the stamp show and was going to hand-deliver the cards but they were attending the show in Portland OR :0) so had to make more cards to fill the box. I used the same set for all the card different designs and different embossing folder for all of them.

This is the first design and I also used gorgeous grunge, corner punch and butterfly brads

Father's day

Happy Father's day!

This was the father's day card for my brother. I CASEd the idea from Pinterest. The set is SU and the message was custom made, the folder is also SU

Retirement

A good friend decided to retired and since he loves fishing I made this card for him. It's a stair-step card. First I stamped the SU hardwood background stamp on craft paper with Memento rich cocoa then cut my dock and posts which are done with an oval punch, the folding chair is a die by Local King, I then sponged the edges. The fisherman is a die by Joy! Crafts...cut a second fishing rod to glue the fishing line in between. For the water I use a Sizzix texture impressions embossing folder, the fishes are Local King stamp set cut with the Brother Scan N Cut and colored with Copic Markers. The fish that got caught is double to glue the fishing line in between and to cover the coloring. Added a little sand on the bottom of the water as if it was the shore using ultra fine flower soft sand

For the inside I wanted to continue the theme so I stamped  this stamp by Woodware Craft Collection with Memento London Fog, the message is in tuxedo black and is by Wordsworth

Krazy Kreations card kit

Today we took a short trip to Keyport WA we had our normal weather in this area...cloudy, showers but the great evergreen view :0)

Now for today's sharing I have a kit that Krazy Kreations had last month as a special card kit for father's day only available for a few days. The kit made 4 cards but because I didn't use the paper for the shirt as it was too thick I was able to make 6 cards. The peel-off stickers are by them. Seemed like they are now making their stickers instead of using just Elizabeth Crafts Designs. Anyway these are the cards I made...the kit came with 2 messages for birthday and 2 for father's day using modern label punch by SU but since I already sent my father's day cards I use messages from the SU stamp set teeny tiny wishes. The stickers were applied to glitter paper and colored with Copic Markers. I made my shirts with a different fold than the one they provided as somehow it made the shirt too small.

These are the two shirts side by side...same size paper (4" x 6")

As you can see the smaller size was way too small for the tie

For this one I made the shirt with a bigger piece of paper (4" x 6-1/2") which I like better

Shoebox Thursday

For today's shoebox project Linda had a patriotic card. We used SU's Everything Eleanor stamp set and another set for the words that don't know :0( Unfortunately the ink pads that we were using were bad or something as it took forever to dry and we kept smearing. The banner and stars were done with SU punches. I think the twine was also SU

Buttercup

I had to work on a card using an umbrella, at first I was going to use the umbrella as normal but then I remember that when I bought this stamp by Sparkle N Sprinkle they had a sample using it as a bra so decided to do that. The message is from a set that A Muse was having as a "free" set for the breast cancer, the punch and ribbon are SU, the embossing folder is Cuttlebug

Shoebox Tuesday

For today's shoebox I made a step fold card. One of my friend had said she'd never done one so figure it was a good fold to play with. There are too many measurements for this fold. For this one the end project was a regular A2 size

The message is a stamp by Make an Impressions and the flowers as well as the baker's twine are SU

Baseball Step card

Another mingle card this time was step fold it could be either center step or side step. While looking for ideas saw this card on Kelly's creative corner which was perfect for continuing with the baseball theme.

The ball was done with SU products circle collection Framelits, chevron border punch and gorgeous grunge stamp set for the dirt. The base card is pretty much the same as any center step card except that I cut the top to match the baseball

I went a step further by adding another ball on back

Baseball time

Since it's baseball time Bret has been watching the Mariners play so decided to work on some cards. I found lots of samples on Pinterest so this was my take

I used SU products gorgeous grunge to add dirt to the baseball and the chevron border punch and last since I didn't have any stamps that goes with baseball thought this worked perfect as Bret does love watching the games :0) it's from Hello life

Bling heart

This was a quick and easy card I made for anniversary. The border is a texture impressions embossing folder by SU, the bling heart was sticker from Michaels

For yesterday's shoebox project Kathy had this clean and simple card. She gave us a birthday message but decided not to add any as it could be use for anything :0)
Stamps are SU so is the flower punch, jewels from stash

For this week's shoebox project I wanted to make again this fold not sure what the name of it is. The stamps are SU except for the inside message that is Holly Pond Hill. Used a Recollections punch

Paper Pumpkin March 2014

I got to work on this paper pumpkin Glittered Greetings. I had to do a card with feathers and since it's out of my box this is what I did. I embossed with fine line white embossing powder and VersaMark then cut them with their almost matching die and added some color with stamping sponges. Don't know who makes the thinking of you stamp and everything else was from the kit

For the next two cards I use only supplies from the kit

More embossing cards

Since my goal is to use ALL the embossing folders I have I'm still making cards with them. These was fun as not just did I use all different Cuttlebug folders but I also use different flowers all of them SU. The circle is a punch by EK Success and the banner is a Spellbinders die the message is SU and yes I love purple so used the same color for all :0)
