New Home

Our youngest and his new family moved to a new house, so made them this card. I wanted to make it personalized to them so I added their house number to the front of the house of my card. The stamp I used is chateau gateway by Heartfelt Creations stamped with a new ink pad this is amalgam by Gina K Designs and I colored it with Copic Markers. So far I like the ink, nice black didn't bleed and didn't smell or don't remember LOL the number was done with Copic multi liners as I didn't have a frame that small or numbers that small; the message is from Holly Pond Hill with gathered twigs ink and the banner is from balloon adventures by SU with ground espresso

Shoebox Thursday

For today's shoebox project, I had a simple card using bunch of blossoms SU's set. I used cottage ivy, bamboo leaves, citrus burst, fresh lemon, honey drizzle & black onyx inks and for my layers My Favorite Things' stitched rectangles stax

Get well

Remember that a couple weeks ago my friend had eye surgery, well yesterday she had the other eye done and this is the card I made for her second eye surgery.

For this one, I used color layering koala set by HA with Sahara sand, crumb cake and baked brown sugar. I cut my layer with scallop squares by PPP, don't know who makes the bamboo, also stamps some leaves with new sprout ink just so the koala wasn't flying and cover the right eye with a heart out of the two step owl punch by SU

Back to School

Today is back to school to some of our schools areas not all as some start tomorrow. Paris goes to one that does start today and this year she is going to 3rd grade so I made her a back to school card. It has been a long time since I don't do school cards not having small kids or teachers to make cards to, used to make the cards for my sister when she was a teacher so it was fun making Paris' card.

I used smarty pants Amanda by Stampabilities, I stamped with hybrid black licorice ink and colored with Copic markers. For my 3rd grade I used two sets, the 3 comes from class of by CTMH and the rest comes from number of years by SU I used a marker to color only because the grade had some wave things so just had it in my hand to colored the rest 😊 I found the school bus paper on my stash and thought it work for the background. My layers were cut with Kat Scrappiness double stitched rectangles

Shaker card

In one of my Yahoo groups we had a mingle aka swap that the theme was shaker card because I knew who it was going to go to and I knew what color she liked I made the card specially for her.

I used a die for the edge with also had the stitched circles, don't know who makes it, the messages are from color layering flaming by HA stamped with rose bud, the marbled stamped was done with rose bud also and then cover with angel pink with blending tool, the beads are from Suze Weinberg

Sympathy

The last sympathy cards I made for grandma's relatives were the same as the Shoebox project on Tuesday, I just changed the message, used one that came with the set and different butterfly brad colors

Sympathy frame

With grandma's passing there was several cards that had to be made so for her siblings I made them this card, clean and simple I use one of the papers from JoAnn's that are like shaving cream technique without the mess, marbled look, just cut the paper in 1/4s

then I used a W plus 9 die small butterfly frame mounted in foam, the die comes with an extra butterfly so I glue that to the bottom butterfly and bend the wings but obviously for mailing they flatten; the message is from flourishing phrases set by SU with VersaFine Clair nocturne
