For today's project I have a card that was inspired by something I saw on Altenew's blog, a card by Laurie Willison. I decided to play again with my Picket Fence blending brushes, still trying to see if they are any easier on the hand than the blending tools but so far they're not or maybe it's just me. Anyway I used oxide inks tumbled glass, broken china and faded jeans. The stamping was mega greetings 4 set by Altenew with VersaFina Clair nocturne and I used scoring board to add some texture on top and bottom and then Nuvo Drops morning dew

Sunday tip or technique
One of the Sunday tip or technique was this cute little tissue box. The embossing folder I think is Cuttlebug, I used a piece of paper from my scrap box that was already embossed. The message is by Lockart Stamps. Difference to the tutorials I saw I added acetate on my tissue box as all tissue boxes have a plastic piece and I didn't use the whole tissue thought it was too much is not like they're supposed to use it :0)

Chicken card
Last week's Sunday tip or technique I think was making a chicken card. We were shown two samples and for what I remember or was able to see :0) this was my take.
The sample itself was the chicken as a shaped card BUT I didn't like the look of little thingies either on the back or inside so decided to glue all pieces on the back of the body and then glue the whole piece to a card base. You can still open the body up to show the get well soon message.
