Happy Retirement Birthday

Today is Bret's birthday and celebrating his retirement soon due to his age and couldn't wait! I made his this card as I had been meaning to use this product by HA.

For the card base used Recollections 110 lb. white cardstock, the black cardstock is Core’dinations 65 lb. and the white cardstock is Accent Opaque Digital International Paper 80 lb. cover smooth white cardstock. 

I started by die cutting 3 layers of the white cs with bee florals window fancy die by HA and one layer with the black cs. With the one in black also die cut it with Cindy Echtinaw Designs Card Creator Perfect Layers A and glued to a layer of white die cut with infinity nested rectangle die set by HA and then mounted to an A2 card base, set aside then the other two of the layers that had been die cut with the white cs cut around and mounted on the black cs the third one I used the color layering stencil set to add the color with Tim Holtz distress inks for the big flowers seedless preserves, for the small flowers fired brick, leaves mowed lawn, branches ground espresso, bees fossilized amber & black soot also added for all the wings of the bees added some Spectrum Noir sparkle Crystal clear glitter brush finally cut this piece also and added to the other pieces; for message used beyond happy stamp set by PinkFresh Studio with VersaFine Clair nocturne ink and coordinating die used a total of 5 dies. To embellished used clear iridescent drops by PinkFresh Studio

Happy Father's Day

Today is the first year without my dad so a hard day for me, us, still hasn't been a good year in my family. This is the card I made to Bret very out of my box for card for him but been wanting to use this product My Hero Monthly Kit February 2023 by Hero Arts so why not, he always says some things are not for guys for anything I made is good for him and this is generic I think anyway.

Die cut 3 layers of the white cardstock with die butterfly window fancy die from kit one of them used the color layering stencil set with Tim Holtz distress inks, for the butterflies seedless preserves, shaded lilac, spiced marmalade, mermaid lagoon, fired brick, crackling campfire, fossilized amber flowers Victorian velvet and leaves mowed lawn; then mounted to the other two layers and then to the mustard layer and black layer and A2 card base. Wanted a hot foil message and the only one I found was this by Spellbinders happy parents day hot foil plate & die set with copper glimmer hot foil die cut the banner 3 times so it would be the same level as the frame finally added some gold metallic pearls from Pinkfresh Studio everywhere
