Today is our favorite niece's birthday. Amazing how fast time flies, seems like yesterday when we met her
but she is now 23!! This is the card we sent her. I started by cutting a piece of Accent Opaque Digital International
Paper 80 lb. Cover Smooth white cardstock then using the hill blossoms layering
stencil set by Altenew a stencil I love that has a matching die which I love love because it die cuts right at the edge of the flowers without the awful white border, I didn't use it for this card but one die I had no problem buying. For other flowers, I normally don't as I always think why buy a die if I'm going to fussy cut the flowers so I don't have the white border, waste of money. I colored my leaves with Tim Holtz distress
oxide inks twisted citron & lucky clover and Picket Fence Studios life
changing blender brush on one side turned the paper and colored the other side
then on one side continued coloring the flowers with milled lavender, dusty
concord, wilted violet and with detail brush by Altenew with villainous potion
turned and colored with festive berries, candied apple, fired brick and with
detail brush by Altenew with black soot. Then cut the layer with double
stitched rectangle die by Kat Scrappiness mounted on a layer of Park Lane 110
lb. smooth black solid core cardstock die cut with Cindy Echtinaw Designs Card
Creator Perfect Layers A then mounted to my A2 card base of Accent Opaque
Digital International Paper 120 lb. Cover Smooth white cardstock for my message
I cut a layer with Hz stitched strips on a scrap of Accent Opaque
Digital International Paper 80 lb. Cover Smooth white cardstock and mounted on
a scrap of Park Lane 110 lb. smooth black solid core cardstock and then decided
my message which on this case I used Sentimientos en EspaƱol or EspaƱoles stamp
set by Scrapbook.com with VersaFine Clair nocturne ink
