Paper Pumpkin

This was an alternative to my Aug. 2019 The gift of fall kit. I grab a layer of red punch cardstock by Recollections and stamped my marbled background stamp by SU with VersaMark but it didn't show much at all so had to restamp the good thing about using a stamping tool LOL so used merry merlot ink was a little tedious since it was a spot size but that's what I get on my kits, then added the die-cut tags, on the little I stamped with merry merlot ink from fresh rainbow sentiments set by Waffle Flower and then used my dual dots stamp by Endless Creations again with merry merlot ink and added Nuvo Jewel Drops limoncello on top

Paper Pumpkin

These were also alternative cards for my March 2019 Poppin’ birthday kit. I used the card base cut in half mounted on a white base then did sort of an inlay technique except that I removed the frame just left the inside of the die. The circle is a printed die-cut elements circles on the white side from be mine Valentine paper pumpkin Jan. 2019, I used the kit's set with crisp dye ink moon rock and added some metal sticker nail heads by Mark Richards

for this one was pretty much the same but used the white labels from kit and the message is from hugs set by Gina K Design

Paper Pumpkin

I made this alternative with the March 2019 Poppin’ birthday kit. I used half of the card base then one of the printed labels on the white side stamped with Bermuda Bay ink the message from the birthday bundle paper pumpkin kit May 2015 then used the scrap where the bows came out and mounted it with foam and then added flat 3 die-cut printed bows. It was donated to the card drive to Scrapbook.com

This was an alternative to my March 2019 Poppin’ birthday kit. I used the flaps of the Printed envelopes, one of the die-cut white label where I stamped my message from the kit's set with VersaFine Clair ink Nocturne, also used a banner from the seriously amazing paper pumpkin Aug. 2014 where I stamped my message from teeny tiny wishes stamp set by SU also with VersaFine Clair ink Nocturne and then added some subtles enamel shapes. I added this card to my donation package to Scrapbook.com

This card was done as an alternative to the January 2020 I’ll bee yours kit and I donated them to Taylored Expressions card drive that ran from April 15 to May 15 I think. I used a layer of crushed curry cardstock to stamped my diagonal bars background stamp by PinkFresh Studio with crushed curry ink, I used the die-cut banners from kit to make my pattern brick, die cut the smile die by Gina K Design added Spectrum Noir sparkle Crystal clear glitter brush and then glossy accents by Ranger, stamped my message from smile set by Gina K Design with VersaFine Clair ink Nocturne

Happy Anniversary

Our dear friends are celebrating 48 years of marriage today. This is the card I made for them that end up sending since we are on lock down still.

I first added my clouds with a template and a blending brush with oxide broken china then added my rainbow die shaker by Avery Elle. I didn't pay attention when I was adding my beads so they are not in the right rainbow color but guess it doesn't really matter...I have to check my paper every time to see the order of the colors otherwise I don't know how they go so it's just a pretend rainbow just like the flowers I color, normally  they get color how I feel at the time since I know nothing about flowers other how to how to kill them. Anyway the message is from Picket Fence, ways to say happy anniversary with faded jeans ink

Happy Memorial Day

Today we honor the men and women who died in the line of duty, serving our country. So this card is in their honor and I made it using Vintage Hues Memorial Day printed acetate by Stamp On it, I added glitter paper behind it, used Kat Scrappiness double stitched rectangle die to make my frame

Simple strip

I wanted to make cards for my personal use and also for the card drive to Taylored Expressions so using my Harper’s Boutique paper pack by The Paper Studio made my cards and then I stamped a bunch of stamps with the simple strips background stamp by Taylored Expressions with VersaFine Clair ink Nocturne and cut them with the matching die simple strips die

I made this card with the Lovely day February 2020 kit. I used the inside of a printed envelope from kit as a layer then mounted the printed die-cut image from kit stamped the flowers from the kits set with rococo rose ink, the message is from friends of a feather paper pumpkin October 2018 set with rich razzleberry ink spot then sprayed some Imagine Sheer shimmer craft spray sparkle and finally added some Nuvo Glitter Drops white blizzard

This was a card I made for Taylored Expressions card drive recently and also for a swap that had to use an elephant, two birds with one stone. I used Love you lots hostess stamp set by SU with crisp dye ink moon rock and Copic marker for shading. Stitched oval die by The Stamps of Life to cut my layer, the message is from together stamp set by SSS also with crisp dye ink moon rock and embellished with Nuvo Crystal Drops gloss oyster gray

With love & sympathy

When I was looking in my unfinished box found this flowers mounted on the floral oval die by Spellbinders so just needed to put them on something so decided to make them into a sympathy card using fashionably chic paper pad by Recollections the image is Dutch iris medley stamp set by Heartfelt Creations with rich cocoa ink the message is from itty bitty greetings set by SU with VersaFine Clair ink fallen leaves

Happy Birthday

Today is our youngest birthday and since Brittney's family have horses he has gotten into riding horses not often but more than he had done in many years so decided to use that as the theme of his card.

I did my background with oxide inks (peeled paint, vintage photo and broken china) and life changing blender brushes I also used my cloud template for the sky then I stamped my running free image by Embossing Arts with VersaFine Clair fallen leaves I was going to do a recess technique but decided to just used a frame so I cut 4 layers of my double dotted rectangle frames and glued them together and stamped my message from just a note set by Mama Elephant with same ink

Another slim card made with the poppin' birthday March 2019 kit. I used the negative piece to make it and again it was a shaker card but for this one I decided to add messages as well as beads.

All stamping was done with VersaFine Clair nocturne ink, the banners were from the seriously amazing paper pumpkin August 2014. As you may know slim cards are very popular now in the main stamp companies so when I was working on some cards for the Scrapbook.com card drive recently that I believe still going on you can check it out here. I made this card from the poppin' birthday March 2019 kit.

Today is my foster brother Brady's birthday and I sent him one of my alternate card for the lovely day February 2020 kit.

I cut one of my card bases from the kit in half then used one of the printed die-cut image from kit which I splatter with brush with a mixed of watered ink old olive and pretty peacock then used the kits set with pretty peacock ink and did some finishing touches with Copic marker and then made my shaker card with beads in my stash

Happy Birthday

Today is our oldest birthday and since he likes nature I decided to make a card using one of my sets I hadn't used in a while or maybe hadn't used but since I had lots of time to play it was about time 😀
I used my oxide inks again for the background (faded jeans, broken china or maybe tumbled glass and peeled paint) with life changing blender brushes and I used my cloud templates for textured on the sky. The message is from the think big mini set by Papertrey Ink with VersaFine Clair nocturne the main image is from Inky Antics also with VersaFine Clair nocturne. I decided to frame the image with double stitched rectangle dies by Kat Scrappiness

Feliz Día de las Madres

Happy Mother's Day! this year mother's day falls on our mother's day in Mexico except for Mexico City as for selfish politicians, the Governor in that state decided since she couldn't see her mom due to the pandemic she was changing the holiday to July JUST in Mexico City so she could celebrate the holiday on a later day when the biggest flower market and all that is going on is hopefully back to normal so she could celebrate it with her mom. For the rest of the people we get to celebrate on our homes on our own mostly. Wishing all the STEP moms, foster moms, and moms a wonderful day.

This is the card I made for my mom. I used papers from my Harper’s Boutique paper pack by The Paper Studio the front message is custom made stamped with VersaFine Clair ink nocturne and used the washi chomper by We R Memory Keepers to do the banner the butterfly is sparkler butterfly dies by Birch Press Design added a jewels basic rhinestones by SU and the message in the back is from con amor, mamá set by SU with VersaFine Clair ink nocturne

Día de las Madres & Mother's Day

I made these cards for my sister-in-law, daughters-in-laws and my adoptive family and friend for mother's day. They all were a bit the different, from one cut I got two cards. On the Spanish version the outside message is custom made stamp on the inside is con amor mamá set by SU both stamped with VersaFine Clair nocturne ink

I used double stitched rectangle die by Kat Scrappiness butterfly stamp was stamped with crisp dye ink (purple) Hydrangea & Ultraviolet, (blue) Turquoise & tide blue, (green) Parrot & Olive, (yellow) Chamomile & snapdragon and (pink) Pinkaliciaus & rubellite plus VersaFine Clair ink nocturne
