Birthday card

One of my girlfriends recycles the handmade cards she receives by remounting them and making them into new cards and gives them away to her mom and aunts so they can send the cards to other people. Most of these cards are for grown ups both male and female so for Christmas I gave her mom a set of children cards for her great-grandchildren.

This is one of them, Mickey's embossing folder is by Cuttlebug and the balloon is a sticker I bought at Michaels a while back.

Stampin' Up

Back in October I attended a workshop and I messed up on one of the designs and until now was able to get some images to finish my cards. I colored with Copic markers everything else is SU

Shoebox Thursday

Today's shoe-box project was this sort of winter card; Candee was going to do it as her Christmas card but didn't give out cards...at least to us so she had it for us to make as her project.

The window die is by Memory Box, the branch punch is by Martha Stewart, ribbon SU, embossing folder by Darice, rhinestones from her stash

not really a winter card as it has the rhinestones and if they were berries there would be more together as a cluster :0) but wintery enough

the wreath on the window is made out of 6 branches

Owl card

This was the first mingle of the year. It was something with an owl, I decided to use one of my favorite combos, black & white and an using an embossing folder that I hadn't use in a very long time by Cuttlebug. Added some wiggly eyes that were the perfect size to the embossed eyes :0)

Retirement & shoebox Tuesday

One of my stamping friends retired technically 1/5 but her last day was 1/2, until now we were able to do a little something for her.

We bought this piggy back from JoAnn Fabrics it was white but I wanted to have some color on it and since her favorite colors are red & purple I went for red :0) used Copic markers with airbrush system. Still have need to practice more as I have a hard time controlling the flow any way I did like how it came out :0) the letters are by The Paper Studio

I made these two cards wasn't sure which one I like more...if you can't tell, on the first one I used two sizes of rhinestones (by Recollections) and they're darker red which was the card I decided to give her and on the next one they were all the same size (also by Recollections) the red is lighter. The embossing folder is part of the set wedding suite by Cuttlebug. The message is part of a set Mulberry Wood by Crafter's Companion. The champagne glass it's a brad from Eyelet Outlet

and this is the card I had for everyone to do as a shoe-box project. The embossing folder is by Tim Holtz /Sizzix Steampunk, the stamps are two different sale-a-bration sets, stamped with rich cocoa and also sponged all around the message is popped.

Shoebox Thursday

This week's shoe-box was this quick thank you card. Kathy had all the pieces embossed and cut for us. My guess the top is perfect polka dots by SU and the other don't know. The words are from a very old SU set and the jewels as well as the ribbon from her stash

12th day of Christmas

Can't believe today is the 12th and last day of Christmas. Most of my Christmas decorations will go down sometime after tomorrow :0)  We called  this day Día de Reyes, in English it's Epiphany. It was the day when the wisemen arrived to meet baby Jesus and brought him gifts.

This is the card I made for my family.
The stamp is an old SU set embossed clear on white (VersaMark & powder), the lace tape & glimmer paper are from SU as well, the ribbon by Offray and where the message, which is custom made, is it's part of a die from Fancy Tags Three by Spellbinders
