Happy New Year 2020

Happy 7th Day of Christmas and 2020 first day of the New Year and Decade hopefully this year won't go as fast as 2019 LOL

Again with my shaker cards because they are fun and easy to make. For this card I used fireworks stencil by PPP with white Glitz glitter gel by Gina K Designs & Therm-O-Web I tried coloring it with mica spray tarnished brass but it didn't work. The frame was done with double dotted rectangle frames, I die cut my Happy New Year die from The Stamps of Life with Altenew's golden dots washi tape and also a heavy black cardstock for dimension; the gold and silver sequins are from JoAnn, I put a little too much but in person you can still see the fireworks and it shakes really well

These cards were part of my ways with washi tape class homework. For this homework  it was using the washi tape for home decor BUT I don't do home decor so I decided to use the washi tape for another shaker card so I cover the layer off cardstock with the golden dots washi tape by Altenew which I used to die cut the words above and I got the negative piece and well I wasn't going to waste it since I planned the cutting so this was the second card I got. I glued the piece on acetate and then die cut the champagne flutes by Taylored Expressions with black cardstock. Did my shaker card with the same sequins as above this time I didn't put as many as I was more careful

Monoprinting Homework 4 card

For the second panel on the watercolor homework, I wanted to show the panel I liked the color so had to do something it will leave most of it open.

so looking around my dies I remember a Christmas die I had not used as of yet, one of those that you buy with the intention of using but time just run out anyway it was perfect I cover part of my panel with white glitz glitter gel by Gina K Design & Them-O-Web, after it was dry I applied my frame with foam and it's nativity scene sidekick frame & stencil by Poppy Stamps. I cut off all the Christmas stuff off so I would just had the frame and then stamped my message from floral encouragement card set by MSE! with VersaFine Clair nocturne

Follow your heart

I made this card playing with my STAY-tion and my life changing blending brushes. I love my STAY-tion for working with stencils I don't have to add any type of adhesive and they don't move. The brushes so far are not something that are easy for my hand as everyone have made it seemed, the one thing I did get a lighter tone of ink but otherwise it was as hard on my hand as using my Tim Holtz blending tools so I guess depending on the look I want it would be what I would use since I have OCD and they are too expensive to have one per color that would also be another thing when using with my friends and it's too much work having to be cleaning the brush after each color unless I'm only using enough colors for the amount of brushes I have 😀

I used distress oxide wilted violet, I should had let it dry completely before continuing but I didn't think I added enough ink with this brush, anyway, I put my triangle stencil by PPP then applied white Glitz Glitter gel by Gina K Design & Them-O-Web and set aside to dry. When it was completely dry I added my message from Gina K Design's set heart with VersaFine Clair nocturne ink and die cut from the matching die 3 hearts, glued them together, added purple Wink of Stella glitter brush, then Spectrum Noir Sparkle crystal clear brush as the Wink of Stella wasn't leaving enough spark and finally glossy accent
