Shoebox Thursday by Kathy

For today's project Kathy had a fall card for us. She had most of the stuff done for us so just a few things to do like the sponging on the pieces to make the pumpkins and leaves which was done with real red ink then put together and stamp the message with a Sizzix set by Lindsey Serata with tip top taupe ink, we also used natural hemp cord by Hildie & Jo everything else was die cut or punch or embossed for us so don't know supplies she used

Happy Halloween!

This is the card I made for Bret for Halloween. Originally I was planning on making it as a shoebox project but it was giving me a little issue mainly my OCD to get all the layers to cut evenly and my friends have problems with complicated cards so decided it would just be Bret's card 😁

I cut the background paper with stitched rectangle die by The Stamps of Life and black with double stitched rectangle dies by Kat Scrappiness then I ran all 3 layers with the BOO...those 2 plus the front of the base card, it didn't cut through all 3 layers but left an impression enough so I could cut two layers and then the other. I put a layer of acetate behind the black put my confetti and sequins and a big spider that I cut from spider web Shapeabilities die set by Spellbinders, put another piece of acetate and mounted on the card base. The BOO that came out of the designer paper was attached on the top inside card base so you could see through the window. The BOO is a die by PPP

Paper Pumpkin

Quick card using left over supplies from last years frights & delights September kit. I used double stitched rectangle die by Kat Scrappiness glue one of the spider treat bags to the layer which didn't work out too well then added the moon die and the ghost from the kit as well as the boo from the kit

Shoebox Tuesday

For today's card another Halloween but more like a greeting card during Halloween time for those that don't really celebrate Halloween. I used Washington State die by Impress sponged the edge with ground espresso distress ink, the message is from Biblical Impressions with ground espresso ink punched with scallop oval by SU and also sponged the edge with same ink

Challenge

This is the other card I made with my supplies Rachel Tessman sent me as a gift/challenge. If you didn't see the first card here I used the top of the coffin and this is the bottom of the coffin. Again I cut the pieces that made it a box since I don't do 3D. I had a "scrap" of black cardstock that was previously cut with double stitched rectangle die by Kat Scrappiness that decided to use as my top layer than grab happy haunting simple stories stencil that had bats with distress ink picket fence and make-up brush. For my coffin I covered it with metallic glitter tape that I think it was a sale-a-bration item 2-3 years ago and the whisper white polka dot tulle ribbon that she sent me I put it on top like if it was a mummy, the eyes are brads from Outlet Eyelets and Brads and the hands are from the paper pumpkin kit

Challenge

Rachel Tessman is my Paper Pumpkin demonstrator and for September she sent me a little gift that is sort of like a challenge to work with the Bone Appétit kit. This is one of the projects I did.

These are the supplies she sent me

and because I don't do 3D projects I cut off all the pieces to make the coffin a box and made it a flat piece. I put a layer of grass then a layer of dirt paper sort of what you see at a cemetery, the pieces on top of the coffin were from the paper pumpkin except for the rhinestones that I believe are from the holiday rhinestones basic jewels on the occasions catalog for my stone I used the tag of the kit and I cut off the stamp from the kit that had eat if you dare of something like that and used the Precious Moments alphabet set for the r i p all with the gorgeous grape ink that came in the kit

Happy 50th

We got invited to a 50th birthday party for one of the guys at Bret's work. He said he didn't know what his hobbies were and I was having a hard time coming up with the card but remember Rachel Tessman made a birthday card with Bone Appétit September 2019 kit and since I had the kit out it was perfect idea so this is what I made. I made the inside using Mixed Up Craft's idea of easy pull and slide idea that I loved

For the front I used double stitched rectangle dies by Kat Scrappiness, I stamped sprinkles turnabout by Concord & 9 with new sprout, lulu lavender, summer sky and angel pink inks; the message is by Northwoods Rubber Stamps with VersaFine Clair nocturne, the skeletons are from the paper pumpkin kit I used the stitched of the layer as the "floor" where the skeletons were dancing

for the inside used the same layers but were mounted on foam so I could attach my pull tab which I stamped the message from the gifts 4 U set by Endless Creations with VersaFine Clair nocturne, the happy birthday are part of the happy stamp & cut set by HA also with same ink, the numbers were die cut 5 times out of the whimsy set by Spellbinders one magnet is attach to the back of the skeleton and one magnet to the tab which makes them slide
