When I worked on the cards here for my gifts I also started on these for my personal use but didn't finish them since at the end I ended up keeping some of them, well I finished them very simple by adding a thank you message and then some glittery enamel dots. It was also rose red ink and scripty saying set by Gina K Designs

Monoprinting card
Today is World Card Making Day. Every year the first Saturday in October has been dedicated to the card makers although most people in the industry don't really do much and us as stampers either. For those that do care is nice to have an excuse to make cards and hopefully to actually send cards send those cards too
This was a card I made with one of my monoprinting pieces I played around but somehow I got to excited that grab the piece to make a card and didn't realized I hadn't taken a photo of the finished piece with my Gelli plate so you only get to see the finish card.
I used the Gelli plate with distress ink shabby shutter and water on Neenah 80lb. My piece was 5" x 7" I used medium dotted die by The Stamps of Life which is about 4" x 5-1/4" with what was left I cut my message which was drop out hello also by The Stamps of Life. I added some of the circles that came out just off a circle and added some Nuvo drops and enamel accents

Thoughts and Prayers
My foster aunt passed away recently she was a very sweet lady. This is the card I made for my foster mom and my foster aunt's children. It was inspired by the card Jennifer McGuire did at the Altenew blog. I used Altenew crisp dye inks Andromeda, ultraviolet, hydrangea and wisteria for my message used Prayers stamp & cut set by HA and was stamped with VersaFine Clair nocturne, prayers was die cut twice and mounted on vellum also added Spectrum Noir Crystal clear glitter brush. The top layer was cut with double stitched rectangle die by Kat Scrappiness

Shoebox Thursday
For today's project a very simple Halloween card no stamping! And actually not very scary. I used Altenew's galaxy washi tape it covers the whole front panel but I like to cut my panel smaller than 4.25" x 5.5" so it can fold on back just to make sure it will not come loose depending on the weather, then added a stitched rectangle frame on foam and inside the open sky some wiggly eyes. The spooky is a sticker from the paper pumpkin of last September 2018 kit and to finish the card sprayed with sheer shimmer spray frost by Imagine

Paper Pumpkin
This is an alternative from the August 2018 kit blissful blooms. The idea was from Rachel Tessman all supplies were from kit as well as the message but I stamped it with VersaFine Clair nocturne ink

Shoebox Tuesday
For today's project I have a very simple Halloween card. All stamping was done with distress ink picket fence, the top message as well as the skeleton border are by Northwoods Rubber Stamps and the Happy Halloween is by Holly Pond Hill Uptown. To ground my skeletons I tried a white gel pen but it didn't work on black cardstock so I went over it with Copic opaque white but it's been a while since I used it so it was kind of dry.
One of my girlfriends had an EK Success Zig Memory System white writer chalk pen so we were able to do the card better

Monoprint card
This was the last card I was able to mail to my foster aunt but unfortunately she was not able to see it as she died the same day I mailed it but her family got to have it. I used this print, the instruction for the print are here
and made this card, I die cut the top layer with double stitched rectangle die by Kat Scrappiness, the butterfly was a digital image that I have no idea where I got as I printed and color maybe 5-6 years ago and put on my unfinished projects box until recently that figure it was time to use on something and decided this was it. It was colored with Copic Marker and cover with glitter, the antennas are something I got at Impress even longer than when I color the images!!, the message is from watercolor roses set by Strawberry Jude Stamps with VersaFine Clair nocturne
