Shoebox Thursday
For today's shoebox project Darlene had this patriotic card. We cut the rectangle pieces in half diagonally and then place on cardstock as evenly spaced as possible. Don't know if any of you had done this technique but wherever you meet your edges in center is not very pretty so the stars were the perfect center to cover that. Both stars were very old SU punches

Sunday Tip or Technique
Another of the Sunday Tip or Technique was the bleach technique. I liked the finish look but it will be something I won't be doing again as the smell was too strong for me.
I embossed the Indescribable gift SU stamp set with fine line black embossing powder & VersaMark then applied the bleach with water brush. Did it twice as the first time wasn't bleached enough then cut it with the oval Framelits and mounted on a Tim Holtz embossing folder

Sunday Tip or Technique
Bret's co-worker is retiring soon and his hobby is photography so was the perfect thing to work on one of the Sunday Tip or Technique. An envelope punch board camera card. It was a fun card to make. I adjusted the size as the top wasn't centered. The embossing folder is Cuttlebug, all circle punches are EK Success, the ticket punch is SU, the message is part of Mulberry Woods Relax stamp set

Stampin' Up New Catalog Kick Off
Yesterday I attended the new SU catalog kick-off. We got to make 3 projects.
This first card was using the new in-color cucumber crush paper & lace, cherry on top DSP stack and the stamp set sprinkle of life

This was a treat bag BUT since the only time I need a 3D project is when we're having company I made my project a card. The Thinlits die was carry-over die from the occasions catalog, the stamp set you're so sweet is new and matches with the mini treat bag die
This last project was using the new in-color watermelon wonder paper & lace and the new stamp set you got this. I use my Copic Marker to color the center of flower
