The message is from delicate flower bed set by Altenew with VersaFine Clair nocturne ink, added some enamel stickers from The Paper Studio. Creative Masking Class Homework

I took a class with Altenew given by Therese Calvird. They were 6 classes each day was different ways of using masking for card making. The first lesson was simple masking which was using a piece of 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" of masking and die cutting or punching a center off and making two cards with both pieces. I used Avery self-adhesive removable laser label. I cut the center of my label with stitched hexagon dies. Also, we were supposed to used small images to fill the layer but I was lazy and used delicate flower bed set by Altenew with VersaFine Clair nocturne ink it has a big background stamp and instead of coloring each individual image I used blender brushes and add ink, I used Altenew crisp dye inks from shades of purple collection soft lilac for the center and then for each corner lavender fields, deep iris, midnight violet and since I needed another color instead of using another collection I used this last color twice just made it deeper. I used Neenah 80 lb. classic crest solar white for my top layer die cut it with stitched rectangle die by The Stamps of Life, my black layer is by Park Lane smooth 110 lb. solid core cardstock cut with Cindy Echtinaw Designs Card Creator Perfect Layers A, my base is Recollections 110 lb. white cardstock, the message is from the same delicate flower bed set by Altenew also with VersaFine Clair nocturne ink and the enamel stickers are from The Paper Studio

for the second card I used the same things: I used blender brushes to add ink, I used Altenew crisp dye inks from shades of purple collection lavender fields & deep iris on the Neenah 80 lb. classic crest solar white which was die cut with stitched rectangle die by The Stamps of Life, my black layer is by Park Lane smooth 110 lb. solid core cardstock cut with Cindy Echtinaw Designs Card Creator Perfect Layers A, my base is Recollections 110 lb. white cardstock, the message is from the mega greetings 4 set by Altenew also with VersaFine Clair nocturne ink, and Mega hope die is also by Altenew die cut 3 times, the enamel stickers are from The Paper Studio

Layered bouquet

Seems like forever since I posted. Been under the weather but hope to get back on track. There will be some changes with the Feedburner which is the thing that sends the emails when I make new post so after July 1 you if you are one of those people that get an update by email you will need if you wish to keep getting them to re-subscribe to the new format.

I made these card for my donation box to Gray Matters Foundation. I love layered stamps and I have been enjoying layered stencils also, I still enjoy coloring but when it gets hard the layered stamps and stencils makes it so nice so we can make cards in different colors easy and quick. For these cards not only did I change the colors on the flowers I also changed the messages

For all cards I used layered bouquet set by Pinkfresh Studio and Altenew crisp dye inks, messages were stamped with VersaFine Clair nocturne ink, enamel dots from stash, double stitched rectangle die by Kat Scrappiness for my white cardstock which is Recollections 110 Lb and Cindy Echtinaw Designs Card Creator Perfect Layers A for my colored cardstock which all of them were Recollections 65 Lb from their variety packs

Easter Blessings

Easter came just too quick this year, having a hard time getting in the mood but still wanted to make some cards. Found some premade egg shaped cards I got years ago I think at Michaels. They were embossed so decided to finally do something with them.

First I stamped the message and eggs from springtime basket set by Gina K with yellow ochre crisp dye ink and added the butterflies which were in my box of things to use but they are from embosslits beautiful wings by SU and sticky back jewels by Eyelet Outlet

this was the inside

then decided to switch but I couldn't changed all cards as the bottom butterfly was too low but this was what I did. The basket is from an Easter die

and the ones I changed I also changed the inside message plus added a basket with butternut crisp dye ink
