Shoebox Thursday

For today's project I made a simple card with the same products almost as here as I still have the punch, stamp and die out so I just changed the papers and inks

For this card I used because the paper I die cut the Washington State map was white I sponged it with old paper ink so it would match more to the beigy background paper. This die is by Impress. The hello from Washington is by Biblical Impressions and was stamped with brushed corduroy ink and punched with scallop oval by SU. Both the map and the oval were both sponged on the edges with brushed corduroy

Paper Pumpkin

Another alternative to my a little smile June 2019 kit these went into my Gray Matters Foundation box. For this card I used the fold that Rachel Tessman showed that she learned from Ann Clemmer. I used one of the banners that came  in the kit and stamped one of the messages from the kit's set with VersaFine Clair nocturne. On my inside layer which was cut with double stitched rectangle dies by Kat Scrappiness I stamped a message from curious forest friends from W Plus 9 with same ink, I cut the yellow square with stitched stax by MFT, glued the vellum circle part of the kit and stamped from the set over the moon by Altenew with sahara sand.

Shoebox Tuesday

For today's project I had a card that was simple that I made originally for an anniversary card as a product of a Sunday Tip or Technique and decided it was simple enough to make it a shoebox. I used a die to do my squares BUT gave them a choice to either cut their squares with the die or cut it with cutter or x-acto knife obviously with die they would have the faux stitched the other options they wouldn't so they all chose the die.

The original faux pinwheel TT was a square 5.25" but in the US to mail square cards cost extra so I wanted to make rectangle cards. Years ago I had made this card I believe the square was 1" or 1.25" but I just grab one I liked the size and started cutting my squares and turned out to be 1.5" which made it too big so had to cut two points but it was fine it didn't bother me, surprisingly LOL the leave was die cut from nested maple leaves by Spellbinders, for the anniversary card the message is from floral anniversary card set with aged mahogany

for this card the message is by Impress also with aged mahogany

ah the squares if from the die set stitched square stax by MFT
