2nd Birthday

Today our grand-daughter turned 2 years, time sure flies.

This is the card I made for her. I used double stitched rectangle dies by Kat Scrappiness to make my frame, I used some sponges to add some color for sky and grass with mowed lawn and tumbled glass inks, the message is from the set beautiful bouquet by SU with VersaFine Clair nocturne ink, the elephant and balloons are from Ella-Fant by Spellbinders, the 2 is from Precious Moments alphabet set with VersaFine Clair nocturne ink, twine from stash, I did my shadow on the balloons with opaque white by Copic, and shadow on the elephant with London fog ink with a sponge, a little cheek color with Copic marker and last wiggly eye

Shoebox Tuesday

For today's project I did my Sunday Tip or Technique. On one of my Yahoo Groups we had to work on a mingle (aka swap) with the theme DTP (direct to paper) and recently we also had the technique retriform so decided to kill two birds with one stone by doing both in one and do my project with this two techniques so this is the card I made. All my inks are Altenew and I had several fall sets to use but the ones I used were for all things by SU, simple stamped-leaves by Taylored Expressions, pretty pumpkins by Sunny Studio, autumn wreath builder by Gina K Designs, acorny thank you by SU and wishing you well also by SU

One sheet wonder

These cards went in one of my donation boxes to Gray Matters Foundation. The congrats is from HA with tuxedo black ink, the textured impression embossing folder  was scattered sequins

Anniversary cats

Today is a dear friends' anniversary so this is the card I send them. I used SU's cat punch, different background papers and the only stamping was the message that is part of Gina K's rose peonies set with VersaFina Clair nocturne. I kept thinking what to do for their card and since the punch was on my desk and we have a cat it was just the perfect card.

A quick anniversary card. I used so detailed die by SU, congratulations die by Elizabeth Crafts and vinyl lace sticker that I got at Daiso Japan

Feliz Día de muertos

Today we celebrate our loved ones that have passed. Well at least in Mexico is a big holiday to honor the dead. This is the card I made. Because one of the traditions are the sugar skulls I made my skull out of glitter to imitate the sugar skull.

The skull is from Stamplistic stamped with Hero Arts intense black I believe it was the last ink I had to try and this one I had to stamp like 3 times to get a full nice image so not sure if it was the stamp or the ink. Colored with Copic markers then cover with double sided adhesive and then added Elizabeth Craft silk microfine warm diamond glitter fuzzy cut in layers. Mounted on the tombstone which is a die by Spellbinders. I added texture to the tombstone and headstone with a ball of paper and ink. The message is in part from La La Land with VersaFine Clair ink

Shoebox Thursday by Darlene

For today's project, Darlene had this cute Thanksgiving card most of the stamps were by Denami except for the little swirly that is from the snowflake sentiments set by SU. This last one was stamped with VersaMark, the pumpkin was stamped with terracotta, the message with VersaFine onyx black, same as the main image which was colored with Tombow dual markers. Ribbon from stash and I mounted my top piece with foam
