I made this card for a friend that was having eye surgery. The image is Maxwell tracks by Stampa Rosa stamped in tuxedo black colored with Prismacolor pencils, for my layer I used fleur de lis die by Spellbinders and added some Vivid! ink on the edge, for the eye I punched a heart from a Fiskars hand punch, feeling a little better stamp was stamped with tuxedo black and is by Lockhart Stamps

Double zig zig
This was one of the "TT" aka Template or Technique in one of my Yahoo groups a while back. I used some message stamps I hadn't used in a very long time as I don't seem to have a use for them I know like them but just can't seem to find a way to use them but worked great for this card. One of the sets was by Perfectly Said Rubber Stamps, another stamp Imagine Rubber Works and Stampendous all stamped with tuxedo black ink. The flowers were from the sets by Heartfelt Creations moonlight dahlia, and blossom both stamped on colored cardstock with tuxedo black and added some chalks and die cut with their matching dies that are by Heartfelt Creations & Spellbinders. The stem of the flowers were ribbon I got at Impress

Shoebox Thursday by Darlene
For today's shoebox project Darlene had a cute Christmas card. She had two samples one with Swiss dots embossing folder by Cuttlebug and one bear and the other was without the folder and another bear. I made one card but did the all the pieces for both cards and when I got home made the other card and instead of Christmas I made it winter.
The bear set is polar bear pals by MFT stamped with tuxedo black and colored with alcohol markers (mix of Spectrum Noir and Copic), for the opening we used starry circle die also by MFT, the circle that came out has the stars and dots and we added chipped sapphire ink with blending tool. The message is from star of light set by SU with real red ink

for this one, the message is from Savvy Stamps with chipped sapphire ink...because I didn't have the starry circle and my stitched die (by The Stamps of Life) is not a double stitched die so it didn't leave a stitched on the base π guess need to put that in my wish list
Cards are both like this, with an acetate window

Hippo Birthday
I had fun making this birthday cards. I used peel-off stickers and Copic Markers. Made my glitter paper with double sided tape and Elizabeth Craft Design glitter, burnished real good then applied cute hippo peel-off by Krazy Kreations burnished again and then colored with Copic Markers. The twine was from my stash, the balloon was left over from another project but were cut from balloon framelits by SU and I stamped with VersaMark the matching stamp from the celebrate set the message is from wild blossoms set by Gina K Designs with tuxedo black ink. Both the balloon and hippo are mounted on foam.

Shoebox Tuesday
For today's shoebox project, I decided to do a fall card yes I know everyone is thinking of Christmas but even though outside is very cold some areas even have or had snow we are STILL in fall season until December 20thπ Christmas IS my favorite holiday and I can't wait to work on holiday projects but wanted to remind everyone that fall was not over yet LOL
One of our Sunday tip or techniques was corner pop up card and the link tutorial was by Srushti Patil, I had seen this fold before and it was on my to-do list so of course work on it as I thought it was pretty easy for my shoebox project. There was a minimal stamping as I used a paper napkin for my images

for my message layers I used stitched squares dies by The Stamp of Life and the message is autumn greetings set by Sunny Studio with ground espresso ink
After the tutorial ended there were other tutorial with the same fold by other people all were all pretty much the same except for one by SandraR so I decided to do hers too. The base part in cut and scores are the same, layers except for one are the same also. I made both cards identical so they could see the difference. I think for a non stamper this is a better card to send so they just have to open and that's it not hassling on how to close without damage or anything...by experience not everyone figures out how things go or at least some people I know and you want them to enjoy what you give without frustrations at any point

Christmas Stack
Today I attended another workshop with one of the local SU demonstrators, it was Christmas cards. We got to make 10 cards, 2 of 5 designs.
For this first card, we used merry little labels set and matching punch, the stars are from star of light stamp set all done with archival basic black ink, ribbon is mini chevron Bermuda bay

For the next card, we used colorful seasons set with craft whisper white ink and the message is from snowflake sentiments set with dapper denim ink punched out of 2-1/4" circle punch, the snowflakes are from the matching or bundle die set seasonal layers thinlits. Her sample didn't have rhinestones
For this next card, we used winter wonder textured impressions embossing folder, we added the color with sponges on the folder before embossing...on the side that has the name you add ink in this case we used night of navy, marina mist and soft sky, rhinestones for bling and the message is from snowflakes sentiments with night of navy and punched out of a retired punch decorative label punch. Also sprayed with shimmer mist which doesn't show in the photo
For this card, we embossed the brick textured impressions embossing folder and the polka dots, added the real red solid ribbon then 2-1/2" circle punch, the deer is from the cookie-cutter Christmas set stamped with tuxedo black originally it was with archival basic black but I was going to color with Copic Markers so worked out better π
And last but not least, embossed the holly textured impressions embossing folder, stamped the message with old olive and the swirly thingy with berry burst, the deer with archival basic black, the ribbon is finely woven berry burst. Couple rhinestones and the red rhinestone was from my stash and I also anchored the deer with Copic Marker
I thought I wasn't going to make any changes as I did like the cards as they were, coloring with Copic is not consider a change LOL but the snowflakes just needed some bling and the deer a little red π
