Ornare or Pricking

This was another of the techniques I love to do before the set back in my eyes. It was something easy to do when I wasn't at home.

I have an online friend that is either Jewish or celebrates their holidays so I made this card for her. I used a napkin that I got at JoAnn Fabrics but since it needed a little something I added stickes on some of the stars and liquid pearls on others

Wondrous wreath class in the mail

These are the rest of Frenchie's class in the mail that I started showing you last month. The kit included one fall card, one tag and 4 Christmas. I didn't make the tag, no need when we don't give gifts :0) Since my friends were working on this kit at one of my play days and I had the stamp and die set I worked along them just using my own papers.

This one was too clean and simple so when remaking it would have a layer of green or red paper to still keep the clean & simple but just a little more, plus I would match the colors more...I used scraps so the ink and green paper was not totally the same :0)

Shoebox Thursday

For today's shoebox Kathy had this lovely Christmas card.

The message is by SU, gemstones from The Paper Studio, the ornament is also SU added 3D crystal lacquer & glitter, the swirl is from a set but don't know who makes it :0( The other ladies added stickles but I decided just to add a few red pearls instead

Stampers' drop in

Today was Stampers' drop in make and take at Impress so a couple friends and I went. I had a gift certificate that needed spending :0) it hadn't been back since early this year as it's hard for me to get there. We had fun shopping.

Shoebox Tuesday

Happy December! Since today is the first day of December and normally I spend it decorating for Christmas did most of my decoration yesterday so my friends could see my Christmasy house :0) of course I had to have a Christmas project. I wanted to use this embossing folder by Crafts Too but I didn't want to color or piece it so decided to just make it a simple but elegant...at least to me :0)

The message is by Impress stamped with VersaMark and fine black embossing powder, pearls from my stash. The photo doesn't show but the paper has a shimmer texture
