Class in the mail

This is "You've got this" Frenchie Stamps' class in the mail. Almost all products were SU. The kit has all supplies to make 6 cards (including stamp set) it does not come with the paper pre-embossed so if you don't have the folder she used you can use one of your choice

For this first card I colored with Copic Markers instead of blender pen or markers, I also added the butterfly

For this 2nd card we were supposed to stamp with bleach then add a shadow image with Cherry Cobbler BUT I can't deal with the smell of bleach, instead I stamped with white ink and then added the other image as it was supposed to, it probably doesn't look exactly the same but was good enough for me, after all what we can't do as is we figure out something that works about the same:0)

For this 3rd card I pretty much did it as the sample :0)

For this 4th card it was the re-inker floating technique something I probably won't do again first as I don't own reinkers I rather buy a new pad than reink a pad and second it was messy and you have to fuzzy cut, paper warped and the white ink can't use Scan N Cut machine :0)

For this 5th card I forgot to check the sample and when I added the corners I put them at the end of the Tip Top Taupe layer instead of leaving at least a bit of border but doesn't make too much difference except that it looks like a octagon...it was stamped on vellum paper and embossed with stylus on the back.

This 6th and last card other than the position of the flowers it was just like sample :0)

Stripes

For my Yahoo groups I had a mingle (aka swap) using stripes. At first I was just going to use either an embossing folders with stripes or background paper with stripes but while checking Penny Black's blog saw a card similar to this and loved it and since I had enough rhinestones...and if I would have rechecked the card before doing my I would have been reminder that it wasn't the whole card plus it had thread on each column LOL still like what my card ended up been :0)

I used Recollections rhinestones and Sulky metallic thread

Shoebox Tuesday

For today's shoebox project I wanted to use one of my many lighthouse stamps. I love lighthouses and sometimes our camping trips are looking for the ones we haven't seen.

This stamp is Cape Disappointment Lighthouse in Long Beach WA by Rubber Rhapsody.
I saw a card on Pinterest so decided to do the embossing resist technique. The seagulls are a stamp by Stampendous, the lifesaver is a brad by Eyelet Outlet & Brads, the embossing folder is SU

Little butterfly notecards

I thought I had posted these cards but couldn't find them so here they are. They were part of the donation box for ORCAS different embossing folders, different colors but same design

I believe both are Cuttlebug folders and SU elegant butterfly

Pooh & friends

These were some of the stuff I found the other day from back when my niece & nephew were very little 4 & 6. The images by All Night Media were colored (with Tombow dual markers) and mounted on the blue paper since December 2004!!! This is what I did with them...added the message by Rubber Marbles, played with the images until I was satisfied with the order and violà

Thinking of you

I also found a few of these card fronts just needed to add message if wanted and also added glitter ribbon, everything was done. The folder is by SU, the message unknown and the marble foam was something I got at the Dollar Store it was part of a children's Disney kit
