6 fold card

This was going to be my shoe box project but figure it was too many steps and probably would go over the 1 hour limit. I have to work a little more on the folds as they don't seem to close nicely not even with the ribbon any way here is the card (sorry for the blurry picture by hand was shaking to much)

Shoebox Thursday

Since I saw this fold at Dawn's blog  http://dawnsstampingthoughts.typepad.com/dawns_stampin_studio/2013/03/twisted-gift-card-holder-video-.html I wanted to try it but seemed I never got the time or patience until now. I thanked Sue B as she sent me a Christmas card with this fold so decided it was time to do it so I made it as a shoe box project. It has been the project that has taken me the longest I just didn't seem to get the right measurements so ended up doing my own and if I would have watch Dawn's video tutorial I probably wouldn't have to work so hard LOL

Folded Chevrons technique

This one another Tuesday try this. The technique itself was fine BUT the chevrons were too big both of the cards I did were 5x7 so I did some other chevrons but half the size just haven't done cards with them will post when I have in the mean time this is what I did with the tutorial

Snip-tuck fun fold card

This one was a Tuesday try this, for the most part I'm either late or I do make the challenge but then forget to post LOL anyway the tutorial was this
http://juliedavison.blogspot.de/2011/02/snip-tuck-fun-fold-card-tutorial.html

and my card was this

Pop 'n cuts gift card holder

This Sunday technique was fun. I didn't have the pop 'n cut die been thinking of getting it though anyway I used a framelit die and then I wanted for the flap to close so I added a piece of magnet one on the inside flap and the other piece was in between the flap that was glued. The magnet that I used was the one that comes in a roll and it has adhesive
This tutorial is by Dawn and she's one of my favorite stampers.

Matchbook candy holder

This Sunday technique was fun as most of my friends like chocolates so it's a nice way to give them a little candy bar. Which I did this Christmas. This is the tutorial we got

http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/matchbookcandyholder/

Triple time stamping

This Sunday technique I had done in the past but then did another card after the technique was brought up in the group. This was the link we were given for the tutorial

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bmculp_tz74

I have a little of OCD that it's hard when the images don't get stamped evenly so it's a technique I won't be doing often as I feel I need to fix before mounting

Embossing folder & shimmer technique

Another Sunday technique project.

I didn't have the shimmer paper so I did mine with metallic paper by Magenta. This is the link we got for the tutorial
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nOYoTibAc54

Also since I don't do permanent ink, I used what I had...Memento ink the only thing is it needed heat setting or something as it took forever to dry

3D projects

I should be glad that I have my Yahoo groups to get me going. One group has a technique for a month the first of the month they show what it is and we have all month to play with it. I not always work on it, either not my thing or not the right time LOL Another group has Tuesday try this and once in a while a challenge I have done several of them and the other group that has the Sunday technique or tip this I only do what is not messy and for cards. I'm really not into things that are not cards although this year I made handmade gifts

I did about 5 or 6 different 2014 calendars like this one

And Post-it cover. I can't remember what blog had this. On the inside left side it's a pocket for little notes. I couldn't find mechanical pencils that were small enough but found this gel pens that were perfect size. Some had the 2x1.5 post-it note and some 2x2 as I couldn't find the first size anywhere.

I also did a candy holder that I have on one of the Sunday techniques

In one of the Yahoo groups I belong to we have been having a technique or tip each week since this past summer. I decided to take the challenge and try some of them.

This one came from this YouTube video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wpaPeSaP3NA

Masking tape technique...not sure why they called it masking tape technique when all the tutorials were done with painters tape anyway I did use masking tape, I didn't use glossy paper guess I should tried it specially since it's a paper I hardly ever use
